21st Century Guide to Casual sex is the true story of Josh Davis, a.k.a. Big Josh Stud, a twenty-something American male from a broken home learning to deal with relationships with the opposite sex the only way he knows how, by not having them. His non-existent relationship with his mother, absentee father and disconnect with his older brother taught him to do to women what they had been doing to him his whole life: fuck em. Phrases like ?The best way to get over one woman is to get under another? would become his mantra. Experience is the best teacher and this would be the only way he would learn his lesson. Time and again the vicious cycle of attachment and detachment would be what made him a genius with sex and a failure with love. His innovation and machination to bypass dating, circumnavigate emotional mine fields and (literally) charm the pants off women would be revolutionary to everyone he would ever come in contact with. He learned to take the human element out of something very much human, sex, and in so doing alienate himself from the one thing he needed most, love. Through it all the man himself, Big Josh Stud, along with his best friend Brian, his instigator Twin and his countless other cronies, soldiers, and sailors along the way would embark on a self-indulgent carousal through several states, every branch of the military, and innumerable women only to learn that the only person he ever really played was himself. And maybe the only true lesson in life is that there isn?t one.

Josh is the best bad guy every girl wants to take home. He delves into the world of drugs, drinking and sex to make you cringe and then turn right around and laugh out loud. This book is a sexual joy ride through love, lust and pure disgust. He is completely relateable and his experience is priceless. Men and women alike can learn the lessons from this guide. GREAT READ!
Very entertaining, blunt, unapologetic and perfectly written! Funny but with a pain that you empathize for but doesn't beg you too. Love it!!
As I read this book I laughed out loud so many times and had to go back and re-read parts of the book because I kept thinking "he did not just say that". I loved it. And I literally folded pages over so I could read them to friends. The absolute disregard for all rules and regulations is absolutely crazy. There is a point when I sort of didnt like big josh stud (as a female) but in the end he made me love him for all his shinanegans and the way he is totally open about his life and the lessons he's learned. Great book!
Josh Davis makes your skin crawl as you read each and every torrid detail of his terribly disgusting, rude and often unimaginable acts of twisted and crazy relationship-like events with females. This book is horribly amazing and keeps you squirming on your seat; either because you have gotten an STD from reading or your mind can't even start to wrap your imagination around what he intimately and unfiltered describes actually feels like. Josh Davis is disgusting, degrading and yet; you keep reading. He becomes the villain you love to hate! The Top Dog you find yourself rooting for! Has this playboy learned a valuable lesson or is this just a book to keep tally of the notches on his belt? Talented, well written and a must read! Your life will never be the same once you read Josh Davis' 21st Century Guide to Casual Sex, and you might learn a thing or two (good or bad).
