The BabyZen Yoyo2 has become the baby stroller of many parents who are traveling due to its light design that is gate-check-friendly and its compact folding. It also has a fantastic turn radius, and a close-to-flat recline.
UPPAbaby G-Luxe
With a reputation for intuitively designed products that are both elegant and feature-packed, the UPPAbaby G-Luxe is an excellent choice for parents looking to travel. The stroller is extremely light and folds into an extremely compact size for transport. It also has a convenient front wheel lock that keeps the stroller stable during use, and a fixed canopy that provides ample coverage against the sun. It is easy to maneuver and comes with a great storage basket that holds plenty of gear.
The G-Luxe, unlike the more expensive models in the UPPAbaby line, is surprisingly affordable. It also includes a few additional features like a cup for the parent for storage, and a rain cover. It also features a convenient one step brake system and tall handlebars that make it easier to push parents of any height and a hand-level fold mechanism that makes it easy to carry around.
The UPPAbaby G-Luxe features an updated robust frame that is reminiscent of the VISTA and CRUZ strollers. It also features an updated, single-wheeled front design that increases maneuverability and a larger canopy that has a pop-out sunshade that offers SPF 50plus protection. It also has a convenient storage basket, and an easy-to-access back-of-seat storage pocket.
While the G-Luxe scored high in our noise tests but it was not at the top of the class in terms of performance and durability. It also had the least number of recline positions when compared to the other test models and its rear-facing model is not recommended for children under two years older.
UPPAbaby G-Luxe was a close competitor however it didn't win the prize for the best umbrella stroller. It does have many of those features that make the winners so popular among families. It is 16 lbs, has a compact footprint when folded, but is not as compact. Summer Infant 3D Lite weighs 2 lbs less than G Luxe and folds down to a smaller size. It is an excellent option for parents looking for a lightweight, compact travel stroller.
BabyZen Yoyo2
The BabyZen Yoyo2 pram delivers on its promises. It's simple to use, lightweight and looks stylish. It's designed to blend in with urban life however, it is also suitable to travel. It's a bit more expensive than some of the other options on this list but it's among the few that come with a rain cover included.

Five Frenchmen created BabyZen with the intention of creating a light stroller that could be used in urban areas. The YOYO2 version is their latest. The YOYO2 is a unique folding and unfolding device that can be operated with just one hand. It is also light and compact and can be carried on your shoulder. It's a great option for babies and has the capacity of a bassinet. It can then be converted into a seat when your baby is at this stage. You can also include a car seat to make it an entire travel system.
The YOYO2 is a fantastic bike with suspension that can take on rough terrain and is easy to push. It has a big storage basket and a big zip pocket behind the seat, which is handy for your phone, wallet or snacks. It can be connected to other YOYOs to accommodate larger families. It is compatible with all Babyzen products including a footmuff and an enormous shopping basket.
The only drawback to the YOYO2 is that it is not suitable for long walks on cobblestones, or in parks. It's a smooth ride, but may not be as durable as something made for more rocky terrain. If you are planning to use it for short city walks or for running some errands, it will be able to do the job. The YOYO2 is simple to get into and out of the boot of my Honda Civic and it will easily fit in the footwell, too. It is also smaller than many people's hand luggage, so it is perfect for flying with children.
Summer Infant 3D Lite
The Summer Infant 3D Lite is lightweight, feature-rich stroller that folds into a small package for easy transport and storage. It is the lightest stroller we tested and is among the top budget options available. It's not ideal for daily use since it does not have a bassinet or a car seat, but it is great for travel.
It can hold a toddler easily. The seat is flat to allow for napping and diaper changes and the 5-point harness adjusts to three height positions as your child grows. The storage basket is big and there is an apron for a cup on the back for parents to use. There's a peekaboo window on the canopy, which is covered by a flap of fabric and an extra zippered pocket for smaller items.
Similar to the UPPAbaby G-Luxe, this stroller steers very well on smooth surfaces but it got stuck in cracks during our testing on rough terrain. The wheels are made of plastic and they bounce more than the average of our test group. It has a smaller strap for carrying than the majority of the strollers we tested, making it difficult to carry if you're carrying a large bag.
The 3Dlite folds in four seconds and is then folded in six. There are a few steps in the process: lifting the lever in the center of the back to release the latch, pressing down the latch on the back right and then pushing the handles downwards. While these aren't the fastest or slowest time for folding and unfolding a stroller, they are nevertheless quite fast. It also has significantly higher-end handle bars, which could be a problem for shorter people.
The main drawback of the Summer Infant 3D Lite is that it doesn't have a complete sunshade. It has a fairly large canopy, but it doesn't offer any protection for your child if you're walking facing the sun. It has a retractable visor which provides some protection when fully open however it doesn't protect the head of your baby.
Zoe Traveler
If you're in search of a light and super compact stroller , look no further than the Zoe Traveler. The stroller is not only light, but it can fold down to the size and shape of a carry on suitcase! This is a big plus in our books. It also includes an umbrella for the sun, a parent console and various other accessories like a travel backpack/storage, cross-body or single shoulder straps, a kids' snack tray, and a weather cover.
Zoe was founded by a family, and is committed to making products for parents that are as beneficial as possible as their children develop. This is evident in their strollers, which range of umbrellas ranging from a basic model to an expandable twin double with reclining seats. Their strollers for travel are among the top alternatives available, and they offer the most bang for your buck.
We tested the Zoe Traveler to see how it compares to the competitors in terms of ease of use and functionality. We analyzed a variety of aspects such as folding and unfolding, storage and maneuverability, and safety. It is a breeze to fold and unfold. However, it takes some effort using just one hand. It's also not as smooth as some of its rivals. It's not the ideal option for parents with taller heights since the handlebars are only around 40 inches, which may be uncomfortable during long trips.
It is crucial to have sufficient storage space in your stroller, particularly when you are on the road. This is the reason for 25% of the overall score. The Zoe Traveler scored a solid 7/10 in this category. There's a small bin in the back of the seat that can hold a diaper bag and maybe a jacket or coat. It's not likely to hold a full day of supplies.
The seats on the Zoe Traveler are comfortable, however they're not the most spacious of our test group. The seats are padded to a moderate level and there are two recline settings. The recline is easily adjusted with one hand, but it takes two hands to raise it back up.
