Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals
This is your time to own a robotic vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%.
The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that has smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its running time of 180 minutes is impressive. It also automatically replenishes and self-empties its water tank.
1. Roomba j7+ iRobot from iRobot.

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. news is a camera-based obstacle detection system that utilizes built-in AI to detect objects such as charging cords, shoes, and the pet waste that many other robots are unable to avoid (and often slough through). It's also the first to automatically send you a picture of any object it encounters to let you know to stay clear of it in the future.
The Combo J7+ is the best robot mop we have ever tested. It cleans up dirt and spills effortlessly, leaving no trace that it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app, which lets you schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones to ensure it doesn't sweep areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it using voice.
The design is also better than the other models. It has a sleek, high-end piece that resembles an toy, not the loud and annoying robot. Clean Base Automatic Dirt disposal System is also self-emptying which can cut down on cleaning time.
In our tests, we observed that the j7+ swiftly removed dust, dirt, and hair from pets. The counter-rotating rubber brushes kept the debris in place rather than scattering it around the floor. It was able to capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot achieve this feat. And it did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.
The j7+, though not as smart as the Roomba S9, which costs $1,217and Self-Emptying Vacuum Robot from iRobot, and cannot clean the stairs, it's an excellent choice for those who require both a vacuum and a mop. It's not expensive and the iRobot app makes it very user-friendly to use.
The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take some time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update actually working until you see it in the action.
2. Roborock Q5+
If you are looking for a robot vacuum cleaner that can do more than simply clean your floors A hybrid is the best option. This kind of robot usually has a built-in water tank that allows them to vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also come with a variety of additional features, including smart mapping, small obstacle avoidance, and even the capability to dry and wash mopping pads. They're expensive at retail, but they often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.
Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. It's the cheapest model of their auto-empty line. While it may not include some of the expensive features (like no-go areas and multi-story memories), it's still an excellent choice when you're willing to make a few compromises to save a few bucks.
The Q5+ is remarkably gentle when it comes down to obstacles like tables and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have many furniture pieces. It is also very thorough in removing dust bunnies. This is a area where most robot vacuums of lower quality aren't able to meet. The technology used to navigate in the Q5+ is fantastic too, with very little missed corners and along walls.
The Q5+, just like other Roborock products can be controlled via a few buttons on the device or through the Roborock App. The app lets you start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barrier and no-go areas, alter your home map, or re-label the rooms.
If you select the Q5+ model, it comes with a new auto emptying dock that is designed to make this robot easier to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's in place the process of emptying the bin is relatively simple. It also features a large LCD display which is great to have when creating schedules or changing settings. This feature isn't necessary for the majority of people, but it can help to keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.
3. Narwal Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly smart in both its mopping and vacuuming capabilities. Its design is among the most innovative in the market, but it's expensive.
The base station is attractive and is easily hidden when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that most other robots leave to you. It stores clean and dirty water, it electrolyzes and heats the water (which many other robots require you to do), empties the dustbin after vacuuming, and keeps your robot charged and clean.
Its vacuuming capabilities are also impressive. It's one of the few robot vacuums I've tried that does a really good job of picking up debris on plain floors, and is not nearly as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.
But the Freo X Ultra has its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to navigation. Its LiDAR and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robovacs. This means it can get stuck or confused in certain rooms or corners of your home. It's also unable to climb stairs as well as other models and doesn't come with a dock to create a clean zone for plush carpets.
Although it doesn't have the same amount of cleaning-related options in its app, or as many shortcuts in the app as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price price.
If you're looking for a way to save money or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are many alternatives available. Many eufy models cost considerably less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for instance is less expensive however it comes with more features, such as stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides an improved overall experience when vacuuming on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile ones.
4. eufy RoboVac G30
eufy is an Anker company that has an established track record of making robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning on hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at an affordable price point. It's easy to set it up, simply connect one of the side brush and then turn it on. Then connect the charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect to your Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. It is recommended to keep the dock near an outlet for power and enough space for it to move but.
The G30 is a small device, measuring 2.85 inches in height, which means it can be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. Its design is less ostentatious compared to some rival models. It features a sleek black finish and three buttons that are physical for Auto Cleaning start/pause (which scrubs the area in a spiral fashion over two minutes) Recharge and Spot Cleaner. You can also link the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to do unscheduled cleaning with voice commands.
The way in which the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from other models. It makes use of an integrated map to make an image of the unmovable items that are in its path. It can remember the items it has cleaned and where it cannot access. It will return to the base to recharge, and then begins cleaning the area it left.
The eufy G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and is more effective on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It also comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't need to be emptied as frequently and comes with an array of boundaries that ensure it isn't in certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller container means it doesn't have to be empty as often and it's less trouble with bulky materials like cereal.
