The only thing it doesn't have that you won't find in the more expensive iRobot Roomba X30 is edge-to-edge vacuuming of floors with no floor. It's also less effective when it comes to mopping. With a sleek, circular design that looks more like a regular Roomba than the competition's compact models This mop and robot vacuum is one of the most attractive looking models in our tests. The latest model from iRobot is among the most intelligent and has advanced features like Enhanced Dirt Detection Technology as well as future compatibility with Matter (another company's robot that can autonomously wash mop pads).
It's the only robot vacuum/mop to score an exemplary 10/10 in our testing due to a mix of high-tech sensors, including cameras, a structured light system, and multiple lasers. The X40 Ultra is also the only robot we tested that can completely autonomously refill and empty its base station and it has an its own self-cleaning mop pads.

It's also quite expensive, but it's not as expensive as the Ecovacs X2 Omni or Roborock's S8 MaxV Ultra, both of which are similarly capable and more attractive. This is a two-in-one vacuum that's very capable however, it will cost you more and create more noise.
iRobot L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra is a top-of-the-range robot vacuum and mop, with many advanced features that will let you forget about your chores. Like Ecovacs the range-topping X2 Omni and Roborock's S8 Pro Ultra, the L20 is designed to be a hands-free cleaning machine that can take care of both mopping and vacuuming, with a multifunction dock that automatically emptys the vacuum's dust bin, fills its water tank, and washes and dry the mop pads.

It can be used to create cleaning schedules, arrange the perfect spot for cleaning or prioritize your most filthy rooms to improve performance. The app also gives access to a host of features, such as seasonal suggestions, custom maps and advanced settings for your cleaning.
