Miss Parizoda

This week was full of enjoyment. I learned something new from Aziza opa’s tp lesson for reading, because it was useful for teaching as well. I understood that teaching is an island that we need to explore and find new places. On Thursday I had my own tp lesson. I thought I would not repeat my mistakes, but unfortunately again I had problems with time management and pre teaching. I was a bit disappointed from a little development. However I am trying to be mindful in this situation and be grateful for even small achievements. I need to admit that practice makes perfect, so I hope one day all of my mistakes will serve as a tool to become ideal teacher. And I was in the next tp lesson based on speaking. It was great and I really enjoyed. Then I was student in tp lessons of Dilnoza and Marjona. Both of them tried their best, and even though I noticed some mistakes, I am also far from being perfect. So overall this week was entertaining. Now, although I want to write more, I don’t want to waste Aziza opa’s precious time. That’s why I finish here.

Miss Zilola

This week we were able to learn more than we did last week. Covering reading and speaking lessons were something, actually, i have been in deed. Now i know the rules and all neseccary tactics about both lessons. Thanks to our teacher that, she is giving more than CELTA course offers us, combining the lessons with her own methods and experiences. This is what teaching us more.

In Every TP lesson we are given a particular handout about a certain rule of CELTA and together with the teacher, we r discussing it and learning how to apply them in real life.

Instructions are so through and Clearly introduced. Teacher is trying to give whatever she has. She is teaching Celta with Celta methods.

I hope i am going to finish the course succesfully and end up being an outstanding teacher.

Miss Madina

This week felt a little bit challenging not boring, but definitely difficult.😅 Choosing a particular text and creating exercises based on it was not easy, but we managed it well together. Everyone did a great job.

What I learned this week is very valuable♥️. At first, I began by conducting my lessons and later I had the chance to observe and take the role of a student. Through this, I realized what to do and what not to do as a teacher. For example, I understood the importance of asking ICQ (Instruction Checking Questions), how to design exercises effectively, and how to keep asking “why” after each correct answer to make students more confident in their responses.✨

One issue we faced was time management. I think we need to work on this maybe by setting a timer or asking Aziza opa how many minutes we have.

Another thing I noticed is how much closer we’ve all become as a group.😍 I really appreciate that we’re sharing experiences, supporting each other, and creating a positive atmosphere. I even started helping the last teachers during their lessons. For example, if they forgot to ask ICQs, I gave them small hints to remind them so they wouldn’t get negative feedback for forgetting.

Overall, it was a good week, full of challenges but also teamwork and growth.

Miss Teacher

The second week has been very busy and full of new knowledge in every single lesson. I truly appreciate every minute I have spent with my peers and with our teacher. Every word, every explanation, and every detail has mattered a lot.

Thıs week we worked on both reading and speaking demo lessons. At first sight, reading and listening seemed quite similar to me, but I discovered that the exercises and "lead ın"s thay we prepare for each skill are actually very different and can be more creative. What struck me most was realizing that these lessons are not only about practicing reading or listening. Teachers alwasy can go beyond the skills themselves and bring up deeper, more meaningful topıcs & questions-like how we, as teachers, can show students that we believe in them, even when they struggle. This made me see that the lessons are not just about methods and exercises; they are also about values and life lessons. Our teacher (and all Unıty teachers) are showıng me that a lesson can go beyond just beıng a lesson and help us grow-not just as teachers or students, but as human beings as well. Im now seeıng teaching as something much deeper than just delivering information.

Thank you, agaın for wonderful resourceful week❤️
