If living to 100 is your goal, I explain the two essential trace minerals that are linked to longevity. In a study that I linked to below, the researchers did a hair analysis of Chinese people who were 100 years old. They analyzed all possible minerals and found only two that were in the normal range: copper and zinc.

What is the significance of zinc and copper? They make up the enzyme SOD or superoxide dismutase. This enzyme is involved in longevity. You don’t need them in large quantities, but without them, your health is going to suffer. Zinc is involved in over 2,000 different enzymes, and over two billion people on earth are zinc deficient.

Zinc is also involved in DNA synthesis and DNA repair. Longevity has everything to do with the ability to repair.

You need zinc to prevent the buildup of amyloid plaque. You also need it to protect your liver against poisons. Zinc does a whole series of things to benefit your body, from your skin to your immune system to digestion. You get zinc from shellfish, seafood, beef, lamb, pumpkin seeds, and eggs.

I put a link below to a video in which I explain how to test if you’re zinc deficient. It’s really simple to do.

Now you know the two essential trace minerals that are linked to living to 100.
