Version 1.7.13963 has a bug for sound, it seems sound move slower than film after some minutes, please report that, I couldn’t find any way to report it.
i have same problem, but only with Dolby Atmos movies, after 1 minute, sound out of sync. I tested all version Potplayer and 12844 is last good one.

I love PotPlayer. It is the best media player I use and the most versatile. I have one big problem, however, and I’ve tried searching for others with same issue but no one discusses it.
The online ‘google translate’ subtitle function used to work fine. I used it to translate English to Dutch while I am watching. This is fantastic because you can’t always find Dutch translations on the subtitles websites. But now for some reason it translates for about five minutes and then it stops. I’ve set the source language as English and the translation language as Dutch. I’ve set it to always translate. Now, the only online reference I could find is that in a recent update it said “online subtitle translation” would not ‘browse slowly’ in the new version. So I thought maybe if I limit the bandwidth of other programmes it Google translate would keep translating. I prevented all processes except for PotPlayer but this didn’t work. Then I tried to check the ‘google translate’ option clicking on the ‘test’, open file, reload application and login. It said the login was successful. The test button didn’t work and I’m not sure what this was testing. Does anyone know why this is happening? What I don’t understand is that it begins translating but only does it for a couple of minutes. Then even if both subtitles are shown one above the other, they are both in English. It would make more sense if it didn’t work at all. And I can’t make head nor tails of google flash file because I don’t really understand how the translation function works. Anyone have the same problem? Thanks on the beforehand. I’ve actually given up looking for an answer on the internet.

It’s convoluted, but to install PotPlayer without McAfee clear the “Accept” checkbox (on the dialog page that related to McAfee) and click the Accept button. On the next dialog you can hit the Back key and then cycle forward and confirm that McAfee won’t be installed.
