Being a houseguest in the Big Brother house seems like a dream come true. You get to spend the whole day doing nothing and potentially win some big prize money. Sure, the game players "talk strategy" every once in a while, but it's basically a paid vacation — minus some stressful feelings on eviction night. But, there are some drawbacks. An entire summer in a house with cameras rolling 24 hours a day and a live internet feed means that you cannot hide from the cameras. Eventually, you've got to do what you've got to do. So, I'm just going to say what all of the fans have been thinking: Have any Big Brother houseguests been caught masturbating in the house ?
It has to happen, right? Since the fans have the option of watching the Big Brother live feeds online at any time, it's not so crazy to think that such private and intimate moments are on the web — and most likely being screenshot and turned into GIFs or memes. Talking about jerking off makes me feel like a jerk off, but it probably does happen, and we are all curious, so we might as well discuss it. Although nothing can be proven, here's a list of people who allegedly were caught masturbating on camera.
BB12 's Lane Elenburg thought he was having a private moment in the shower, but that's apparently never true on the set of Big Brother . To give this story some background, the cast was swapping sex stories before Lane was filmed seemingly masturbating in the shower, so it's possible that the heated stories got him riled up. How awkward.
Spencer Clawson was caught by the BB15 cameras allegedly masturbating under the covers. The rotating camera that taped the footage was pretty noisy and Spencer actually noticed it, but that didn't deter him from keeping on with whatever it was he was doing. I mean if the camera already shot him for the live feeds, he might as well finish and get that release — right?
Last year, the BB16 cameras caught Zach Rance looking like he was going at it alone, and now the footage will live on forever. I don't blame him if that's what he was doing, though. I feel like playing the game could get pretty stressful at times.
Even though Jace Agolli was the first contestant kicked out of the house during BB17, the cameras still managed to capture him in what looks like a sticky situation. (Ew, I can't believe I just typed that sentence.) Masturbating is totally normal and healthy, but why is Jace seemingly touching himself next to a sleeping John? Are there not other unoccupied areas of the mansion?
This validity of this one is up for debate, so I feel like I have to address it. On BB17 , it appeared that Jeff Weldon masturbated on Julia Nolan while they were laying in bed, and the Internet (rightfully) freaked out over it. Thankfully, footage from a different camera angle has surfaced and seems to have proven that there was already a "stain" on Julia's back, and that he did not actually get any fluids on her. Phew! Still, it's important for houseguests to remember: Big Brother is always watching, even when you're seemingly trying to get it on.

Hello, just recently my daughter has started masturbating in the shower. This really bothers me and I don't know how to handle it or what to say to her. I want to be open and honest and I want her to know that she can talk to me but I don't know where to start with this one. Is it normal?
Yes, totally normal. I personally would just leave it as probing her further may just end up needlessly embarrassing her. It's perfectly normal to explore your own body, why does it bother you? Can I just ask (out of nosiness) how you know she is doing it?

Bless her she must have been mortified when you walked in. I am almost certain I did it at that age, I have done it for as long as I can actually remember (and there's definitely nothing wrong with me ). The important thing is that she shouldn't feel it's something to be ashamed of. Perfectly normal and absolutely fine to do privately.

It shouldn't bother you as this is totally normal. Children as young as six learn to masturbate. It's wrong to associate masturbation with adulthood and sex because it's not quite the same.

Don't make an issue of it. Somebody a while ago talked about a 'growing up box' which I plan to so for my two girls soon. It included books about sex and biology, sanitary towels etc... Maybe just do something like that and offer her the choice to come to you with any questions...
