We had the opportunity to test the EV9 for a few hours on a local freeway and found it easy to drive and comfortable for long distances. The EV9 is able to suppress the sound of traffic and wind driving along the highway. It rides smoothly over ruts and humps. The acceleration is extremely quick and the vehicle has adjustable regenerative braking that allows "one pedal driving" by simply taking off the accelerator.
The EV9 offers a great range and can be recharged within three hours or less at home, or by using any commercial charger. power electric scooter can choose from two operating modes - eco mode and sport mode. Eco mode prioritizes the power and cruise control, as well as handling, while sport mode increases speed. Both modes are fun to drive and offer an unforgettable experience for those who have never experienced driving an electric vehicle before.

In addition to the EV9, GreenPower has several other e-vehicle offerings including a multi-purpose electric mini bus called the EV Star. The EV Star is ADA-compliant and can be used for executive shuttles, transit or microtransit vanpools, buses, or paratransit vehicles.
GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star buses per month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their older diesel vehicles fleet with 100 all-electric cars. With the Biden Administration planning to electrify school buses across the country, GreenPower plans on ramping production to meet demand. Their EV Star bus is the first of its kind to be tested by Altoona and FMVSS-certified, Buy America compliant and ADA conforming. This means they'll be eligible for federal assistance in transit. Check back as we follow the AV Star on its demonstration tour later this year. We will share more details on this exciting EV.
