Way back when, many of the Teen Mom stars you’ve grown to know and (sort of) love started out on 16 and Pregnant.
But what about those who did not make the cut for Teen Mom… or Teen Mom 2… or Teen Mom 3?
What ever happened to Summer Rewis, Izabella Tovar, and Nikkole Paulun?
We’ve caught up with a handful of the 16 and Pregnant stars you may have forgotten, along with the ones who are now much older, possibly pregnant again and still in the MTV spotlight:
The ex-party girl was featured on the fomer MTV series after giving birth to son Lyle as a teenager. These days, the Michigan native is also a parent to a one-year girl and shares parenting stories and tips on her social media profiles.
After welcoming son Enrique with husband Jairo, the couple managed to stay together, welcoming a daughter named Anastazia. The two are married and Tovar graduated from college in May of 2016.
Poor Maddy got pregnant from a one-night-stand. She is still raising little Aubrey on her own, but now she’s doing it in a brand new house.
Ever since giving birth to her son, Drake, Autumn asked fans to donate for her home repairs via a GoFundMe campaign in 2014. Then, in 2015, rumors ran rampant that she was dating another 16 & Pregnant alum… Millina Kacmar.
Summer is doing especially well. She remained with Peyton’s father, DJ, and they recently welcomed another son, Connor, in the summer of 2016.
Valerie Fairman, one of the original 16 & Pregnant cast members from 2009, tragically passed away in December 2015. She fought addiction for years, and most tragically at all, leaves behind a daughter, Nevaeh (Heaven spelled backwards).
16 and Pregnant Season 2 duo Ashley Salazar and Justin Lane, who had their first baby together all those years ago, just welcomed another in January 2017! Baby Phoenix arrived ahead of his January 28 due date by three weeks, and joins a seven-year-old sister, Callie.
Del Rio has been largely out of the spotlight since welcoming twins Josh Jr. and Noah. In 2014, though, she announced via social media that she welcomed another little boy named Sebastian.
Jordan was temporarily homeless prior to giving birth to daughter Genevieve. And she’s still struggling, having checked into rehab last summer. We hope she’s doing better these days.
Kristina is happily married to TJ Head and has her hands full with three boys: Lukas Todd, Tommie Joseph, and Layton Jax.
Leah is actually hanging in there pretty well despite two failed marriages and being a single parent of three young girls, one of whom has special needs. Yes, she’s constantly on the verge of cracking mentally, but most people in her position would be; Messer has also shown considerable signs of improvement within the past year, and gets along well with both ex-husbands.
Lowry’s life has been a roller-coaster from the start, but especially within the past year, as her divorce from Javi Marroquin has played out on MTV – and social media, where they passive-aggressively shade one another like it’s their jobs. Hopefully they knock off that nonsense before their son is old enough to feel its impact, or read the comments section.
Evans needs no introduction. The Carolina Hurricane is about to welcome her third child by three different guys, and continues to be in and our of courtrooms battling for custody of the first two (and fighting off various other criminal charges). She has a LOT of issues, not the least of which is her taste in men. And her propensity for violence. We’ll just stop there.
As Houska’s father Randy recently put it, she flies so far under the radar that MTV forgets about her. We wouldn’t say that – but only because her fans love and support her so much. Having recently married Cole De Boer, Chelsea is expecting her second child (and Cole’s first) within weeks. Add in adorable daughter Aubrey and they are the cutest family ever. Give it up for The Housk!
Portwood has been through hell and back (or at least prison). After accepting a five-year (!) sentence instead of drug court, she emerged from the state penitentiary sober and reformed in late 2013 after just 16 months behind bars. Controversy still follows her, though; Matt Baier, her fiance, has made headlines for being two decades Amber’s senior – and for a drug-addled past of his own in which he fathered between 7-9 kids (depending on who you believe).
Bookout has been as happy and controversy-free as any 16 & Pregnant alum, married to Taylor McKinney, with two additional kids on top of Bentley, her first with Ryan Edwards. Not only does their modern family set a positive example week in and week out, Ryan seems to have turned a corner in his own life too. Miracles do happen.
Abraham … ugh. Between the cringe-worthy plastic surgery, her erotic novel series, her frozen yogurt store, her endless parenting fails, the infinite wisdom that is her social media presence, oh, that hard core porn career, it’s hard to know where to start other than to call her the most infamous of all the show’s alumni. By far.
Catelynn Lowell married her high school sweetheart, Tyler Baltierra, and six years after they gave up their first child, Carly, for adoption on 16 & Pregnant, they welcomed a second daughter, Nova, who they are raising themselves. Cate has bravely and openly struggled with postpartum depression and other mental health issues.
Mackenzie Douthit McKee married her high school sweetheart Josh, and they now have three kids in total. However, they recently separated following dueling allegations of infidelity; Mackenzie denies cheating, but admits she was texting another guy and that their marriage was strained by her postpartum depression. It’s unclear if she and Josh will reconcile; McKee has been accused by her husband of manipulating drama for the sake of remaining relevant.
Briana, whose storyline was largely devoted to her decision to parent Nova while her sister, Brittany, aborted her own teenage pregnancy, has kept herself in the spotlight with an appearance on VH1’s Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn, and by undergoing a Brazilian butt lifts and even a labiaplasty as documented on Dr. Miami’s Snapchat account (as were Kailyn Lowry’s).
Alex Sekella has taken a more low-key approach to life since her 15 minutes of fame – and her tumultuous romance with Matt McCann (pictured) – ended. The dancer and her daughter, Arabella, still live in Pennsylvania, and she now has a full-time office job at a financial institution. She’s also settling down with boyfriend Tim Peters, whom she’s been dating since 2015.
Katie has kept a low profile since her stints on 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 3, working at an inpatient treatment center for recovering addicts and raising her daughter Molli, now 5, in Wyoming. She and Joey Maes (pictured) are no longer together, but she’s in a new relationship and seems really happy.

Jordan Cashmyer, who appeared on “16 and Pregnant,” has died . She was 26.
Cashmyer’s stepmother, Jessica Cashmyer, announced the news Sunday on Jordan’s father’s Facebook page alongside a black-and-white photo of the late reality star.
“Last night I received a call no parent ever wants. My oldest beloved daughter, Jordan has passed away, she was only 26 years old. Our hearts are truly broken. No parent should ever have to go through losing a child, EVER,” Jessica’s post read.
“Please keep my family in your thoughts prayers as we navigate through this terrible tragedy. Please understand and respect our privacy at this time. We are surrounded by the love and support of our children, grand daughter Lyla and family members. Jessica Cashmyer.”
The family did not reveal Jordan’s cause of death.
Jordan appeared on the MTV reality series in 2014 alongside her then-boyfriend, Derek Taylor, and their daughter, Genevieve “Evie” Shae Taylor.
Jordan’s episode followed her as she struggled with unemployment, homelessness and being disowned by her family after she pursued a relationship with Taylor, of whom her parents didn’t approve.
Her personal life continued to be in turmoil off camera when she had to sign over temporary custody rights of Evie to Taylor’s mother in 2015. Battling addiction issues, Jordan was arrested for drug possession two years later, Deadline reported .
Before her sudden death, Jordan was turning her life around, having recently celebrated one year of sobriety.
“This is an incredibly sad day. Jordan was a sweet and caring person,” Jordan’s rep shared with E! News . “Last we spoke she was doing well and seemed to be in a good place mentally and physically. I wish people had the opportunity to know her beyond her struggles. I was always rooting for her and am grateful I had the chance to know and work with her all these years.”
He added, “Life wasn’t always kind to her so now she is able to be at peace.”

It’s been a little over four months since 16 and Pregnant star Lindsey Nicholson (formerly Lindsey Harrison) made the trip down to Florida for a complimentary boob job courtesy of Dr. Miami , and since then, she has been showing off her newest assets online in a series of bra-popping snaps.
In addition to the candid shots on social media, Lindsey also recently posed for a staged bikini photo shoot at the beach in which she went topless — albeit with her fingers over her nipples. (I couldn’t find a site that has published the photos, which are licensed through Splash News, so I’m sorry I don’t have a link for you. Lindsey did do a previous non-topless bikini shoot that Perez Hilton covered though .) The staged topless beach photo shoot is a staple for clients of GR Media like Lindsey, and it’s something we predicted at the time of her Dr. Miami surgery (another GR Media specialty):
Lindsey follows in the breast implant footsteps of GR Media’s Teen Mom clients: Brianna DeJesus, Kailyn Lowry , and Mackenzie Douthit. If she continues following the GR Media Mad Libs formula, the next thing we can expect to see is a bikini photoshoot on the beach (once her breasts have healed) with the potential of topless shots if she is willing ( like Briana was ).
Please know there’s no judgement here! I think society gets a little too freaked out over female breasts anyways. And as far as the debate over elective breast augmentation surgery, I’ll let Lindsey defend herself via her Twitter account:

Girls.. Please don’t get a breast aug for just a spur of the moment decision or because you think you’ll get more attention.
I carefully considered getting my breasts done for many years and was just unhappy with the appearance after breastfeeding.
Just whatever you do make sure you are strictly doing it for just you and you only!
I had no idea my breast aug would become worldwide news.. It just did.
& please ladies don’t go to another country to get them done because it’s “cheaper” !!

Lindsey also answered a very thoughtful question from an Instagram follower about whether or not she regretted having the breast augmentation:
COMMENTER: Just a question no mean to offend what so ever. But do you regret getting your boobs the biggest you could? I mean I think I’m just as petite as you are and I have some back pain here and there I would love bigger boobs just not sure how big personally I don’t think I could go that big because I feel like it’d put to much pressure on my back. How do they feel do you feel limited at all? @lilmamalinds you look amazing btw!!
LINDSEY: not at all, I was so tiny and had already had big boobs while breastfeeding before so it wasn’t that much of a change in about 3 sizes bigger than I was breastfeeding at a DD but I have no pain and they fit my body great. Most people are sh shocked when I tell them I’m a 32g So no I’m very happy with the results and size.
Back on Twitter, Lindsey expressed her appreciation for those who had positive responses, while admonishing the negativity: “I love seeing women lift each other up and support each other and to all the women who don’t y’all need Jesus! ??”
Speaking of lifting each other up and supporting each other, Lindsey seems to be struggling to find a bra that can do those things. “I need to find a website that sells cute 32g bras?” Lindsey asked her followers back in June. “Anyone know of any? Can’t find any in stores ” She soon after hinted that we might be seeing a line of Lindsey’s Secret big bosom bras soon. “I’m so close to just starting my own business making cute & sexy bras in large size cups but small band sizes,” she tweeted, adding the #overit hash tag.
In addition to Lindsey’s difficulties finding attractive foundation garments up to the hefty task, Lindsey also shared her minimal difficulties recovering from the Dr. Miami surgery. “How bad was the surgery?” One female follower asked. “Is it worse than child birth?”
“Childbirth is way more painful,” Lindsey responded, “this feels like when you breastfeed and your boobs are very engorged & super sore.” Lindsey was healed up enough to return to work on April 11, but a couple days later she did point out at least one lingering effect from the procedure: “Sneezing is hell for me right now ?.”
Moving on from her boobs to her personal life, things seem to be going EXTREMELY well for Lindsey, her husband TJ and their daughter Aniyah. TJ has officially adopted Aniyah as his own daughter, and on July 1, Lindsey posted a photo of her daughter’s social security card (with the number hidden, of course) which showed her last name had been officially changed to Nicholson! When asked about how hard the adoption process was, Lindsey said it was difficult — more so in her situation because Aniyah is a registered Native American:
the process was very stressful and pretty expensive . For us it was harder because Aniyah is a registered Native American so we had to go through many extra hoops to get the process done because of the Native American child welfare act. BUT I would do again in a heartbeat it was beyond worth it and now I never have to worry if something happens to me where will Aniyah go she’s always going to be safe with my husband & I. I really recommend it if the real father isn’t involved at all!
Lindsey expressed her gratitude and love for her husband TJ on his first Father’s Day after the adoption:

Becoming a dad might be something TJ will be doing again soon! “I don’t think my baby fever has ever been so high,” Lindsey tweeted back in April. “[I] can’t wait to have a little one, to see my husband hold our baby for the first time ? ” Right after that she tweeted: “When your biggest worry in life is deciding which month to get pregnant in.. #lifeisgood”
Congratulations to Lindsey, her husband, her daughter, and her “two girls!” They all seem to be doing fantastic!
