Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that is multi-purpose. It can be transformed from a single stroller to a double stroller by adding the second seat (sold separately) or a glider board. The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection can be configured to be a triple travel system with the addition of a bench or an infant car seat. It comes with 24 options in all and is the highest-rated stroller. The model is made of Baby Jogger’s soft, breathable and sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They aid in regulating temperature. It has a leatherette handlebar, bumper bar and belly bar. It folds 20% smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is also lighter.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a handy magnetic peek-aboo window that is easy to open and close. The telescoping bar is of the most easily adjustable, and is suitable for parents of all heights. The seats recline and have an adjustment button for the footwell to allow you to place your child in the most comfortable position. The storage bin is spacious however we would prefer it had an opening that is more secure. The bin is easy to open, but the zippers can be frustrating because they have to be removed and put back in place after every use.
Like its counterparts, the City Select has single-action brakes that are simple to set and release with the pull of a lever on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It's sandal and barefoot-friendly and is an improvement over the toe-pinch lever that some of the other models use.
This is the only stroller that we have reviewed that can accept two infant seats. It's an excellent choice for parents who have twins or an infant on the way. It can fit most infant car seats made by major brands with an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q as well as Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good option for families who already have a car seat and need a stroller that can accommodate it, but you may be better off with another convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional infant car seat in this instance.
