Upgrades can boost the power of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrade is determined by the levels of gear, their requirements, and how many random augmentations can be applied.
The most powerful racial Shield Razortail, for example, is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption function in PvP or add additional defenses to missile-based designs in the PvM. This makes it more tradable over the original version that is not upgraded.
Reroll Tokens
Reroll tokens allow you to buy a new item, such as armor, weapon, or ring. The item is replaced by another item of the same type, but with different bonuses. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original level of the item and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

The surviving players can acquire Reroll tokens in a variety of ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can be found in chests and crates or bought from the store for 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attributes of an item such as increasing its damage.
Players can roll their equipment using three aspects: physical power, magic power and health. Physical power upgrades increase the damage done by melee and weapons and spell power boosts mage attacks and rings. Health upgrades provide the player with additional health.

Blueprints are envelopes which appear at the beginning of each Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they're opened they will display a complete description and an icon for the appliance or ingredient that they correspond to. Growthstones

To upgrade gear players must first locate the item then click the "level up button". The menu will be displayed that shows the item's current status and what it will be after being upgraded and the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade a piece of gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue) rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.
After deciding on the item to upgrade the player must select the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay the cost. The game will show you the requirements when you select the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. These include the type of item (either weapon or armor), the tier of the item as well as the upgrade Token needed, and the amount of progress required to complete the upgrade.
