Easy Installation
A secure and safe car seat is among the most important purchases you ever make for your child. To help ensure your child's safety while traveling, our infant car seats are fitted with bases that allow for easy installation. You can select an ISOFIX base with built-in rebound protection as well as a FamilyFix 360 Pro base that rotates to make it easier to get your child inside and out. Both bases can be used with our top strollers to form an entire travel system.
Our ISOFIX bases and car seats have a red-to-green tightness indicator that confirms the connection is secure to your vehicle. When the indicator's color changes to green, it means that the ISOFIX connectors are securely secured to the metal clips in the back of your vehicle and you will hear clicking. We also supply an additional support leg and top tether, which prevents the car seat or base from moving forward in the event of a accident, keeping your child in a secure position for a longer period of time.
It is safer to let your child travel in a rear-facing car seat up to 15 months old. CabrioFix's i-Size ISOFIX Base is designed to be easy to install using the lower anchors on your vehicle. Simply push the indicators on either side of the base, and then locate the lower anchors in your vehicle and then press them into place until you hear clicking.
Once the lower anchors are firmly secured, thread the vehicle's seat belt through the buckle and guides of the car seat. The longer part of the belt through the holder at the bottom and around the back of your seat. To ensure your child's security, make sure the belt is secured and tucked into the base.

Built-In Rebound Protection
The built-in feature of rebound protection is fantastic for limiting side to side movement and reducing the force in crashes. It's fantastic that this car seat comes with it, since many don't. The system detects that the seat isn't properly installed and applies a small amount of pressure to the headrest to limit the movement. This will prevent kids from being thrown forwards in the event of an accident. It could make a huge difference in how secure their seat is.
The seat is designed for infants from birth to 13kg, or around 18 months in vehicles of group 0+. It's an extended period! It also has a ton of safety features, like Dorel's Air Protect which limits impact forces to the child's head. This is a feature that we've found to be very important for the safety of young babies and toddlers.
The belt path indicators are a different feature we like. They make it easy to check if the belt routed properly. They are clearly labeled and they even pop up when the belt is retracted to ensure that it's secure! This is a great feature, especially for beginners who are unsure of how to place the belt in a different way.
Overall, this seat is very comfortable and has a lot of clever features that are body-friendly for both babies and parents. It's a great option for families who are looking for an excellent baby seat at a great price!
The only thing that stands out as a downside is the short crotch strap, which can pinch children's legs and cause discomfort. However, this is easily solved by adding an crotch buckle cover that is easily available online. It's a very minor con that we can overlook it as this seat has many other amazing features!
