12 Companies Leading The Way In Counter Strike New
Counter Strike New Revealed
Valve finally revealed Counter Strike New after weeks of rumors. It's a major update for CS:GO which will be bringing it on the Source 2 engine.
It also introduces sub-tick server updates as well as responsive smoke grenades. It's made a lot of armchair gamers go crazy but it's actually an upgrade for the average player.
Smokes
Counter Strike New is getting a major update that will completely change the method of using smokes in the game. These changes, dubbed responsive smokes, are a game changer. Smokes will expand to fill in areas and move around the map to move around objects. They will also react to the lighting in the games, making them appear more realistic. Smokes will also be able interact with gameplay events. This will open up new tactical possibilities. For instance, bullets can cause smoke to temporarily make clear sightlines, while Hex grenade explosions will disperse smoke obstruction.
Smokes are now more dynamic in the game. In previous iterations, smokes were a fixed shape and was limited in how far they could go and how much vision they blocked. But, the smokes are now able to expand to fill the space they are within and block more of the player's view when they are in it. This is a major improvement that will increase the speed of play and will give both teams the same view.
Smokes also react to light, weapons, and surroundings of the world. This makes the smoke appear more realistic and allow players to use it in a variety of ways to gain an advantage over their opponents. This will especially be beneficial in the chaotic 5v5 matches that are likely to occur on every map.
Smokes are no longer one-way. This was a major problem in CSGO, as it allowed players to see the position of their opponent from behind the smoke. Twistzz is a well-known CS:GO professional, says the new system is a huge improvement for competitive CS2 and makes it more fair for both teams.
Other minor enhancements include changing the vertical position of smoke particles to minimize the visible edges, and updating spectators smoke overlay images so that they correspond to their camera's location. The expiration time of smokes was updated to match the visuals displayed on screen.
Loadouts
CS:GO players can now modify their weapon selection prior the start of each match. The updated loadout system lets players to choose the weapons that best suit their playstyle and team strategy. The new system adds depth to the game, as players must find a balance between firepower and utility.
The CS: GO Update includes a number other enhancements and changes in addition to the brand new loadouts. The buy menu was completely revamped. The old buy wheel has been replaced by a customizable grid that shows all purchase options simultaneously. The grid is populated with five pistols and five "mid-tier" weapons such as shotguns and submachine guns, as well as five rifles and carbines.
The new system is easy to use and gives players greater control over their weapon selection. It will allow them to choose the weapons that suit their playstyle and team strategy the most, as well being able to experiment with different combinations. It will also allow players to test their skills against other players' loadouts and find out how they stack up.
While many players appreciate the flexibility it offers, some have criticized it for deviating from the essence of Counter-Strike. They also expressed concerns about the impact it will have on map-specific loadsouts and agent's skins that are based on visibility.
Despite these criticisms the new loadout system will be tested in greater detail in the coming months. It is possible that some of these issues may be addressed in future updates, so it is essential to keep an eye out for further information.
In addition to the new CS: GO features, the latest update also includes Workshop Tools that can be enabled through the game's settings menu and enable community contributors to design weapon finishes, stickers, and maps. The update will also ban players who violate VAC rules during matches.
The latest CS: GO update is scheduled to release later this summer. For now, players can check out the full list of updates and features by visiting the official CS: GO website.
Sub-Tick Updates
The world of Counter-Strike is updated by the server in discrete intervals of time called ticks. The smallest gap between a tick and the mouse click of a player may affect the accuracy of a shot, and Valve is working hard to ensure that CS: GO is responsive and smooth. A new video reveals the most significant improvements to the game, referred to as sub tick updates.
Instead of the 64-tick update that occurs every millisecond, CS Go will now be able to make use of sub-ticks (or as Valve calls them, "micro-ticks") to communicate with the server. The client will record each of these tiny increments and send them to the server. The server will transmit the updated game's state back to players. The servers will know the moment you fired a shot, jumped, or peeked.
While a one-minute video is not enough to cover everything the video explains that every piece of data sent by the client is accompanied by a time stamp. The server will collect all the information from all players in chronological order before sending it back. According to the video it is believed that a CS: GO server will be able to send more than twice the data as a 64-tick servers.
This means that even if the game's tick speed increases to 128 Hz, it will be able to handle your commands immediately and consistently. It's not solely about increasing the tick rate also, micro-tick updates also reduce latency and input lag by ensuring that the server responds to your actions without delays or glitches.
Valve's technical improvements to the game are just the beginning. The company is working on dynamic smoke and particle systems to improve how smoke interacts with the surrounding, and it's updating all maps with high-resolution textures, lighting, and models. All CS cosmetics and weapons will be updated with Source 2 tools and features.
Maps

The new update coming to Counter Strike New will bring new maps to the game, alongside a few classics which are getting facelifts. The updates are currently being tested in an unspecified beta. The first set of maps include upgrade and touchstone maps that will see no major changes to gameplay, whereas others have been completely renovated or redesigned using the new Source 2 tools.
One of them is Overpass has been reworked to make use of the engine's new unified lighting system. The map's eerie underpass has been flooded with light, making the space more spacious and less crowded. In addition smoke grenades now expand dynamically to fill in spaces and interact with the new light.
Italy is a second map that has been reworked. Its texture, lighting and structure have all been greatly improved. The new version has a more balanced feel as opposed to its predecessor, which was heavily CT oriented. Fans can expect a few more classics, such as Aztec and Militia which will be updated in the future.
These maps won't be added to the map pool for competitive play, even though they are still playable. Train is the exception since it was removed from Active Duty but will still be played in tournaments. Valve has not yet confirmed whether the other maps taken from the pool will be reinstated.
Helsingin Sanomat is the national newspaper of Finland. The newspaper's latest update has been deemed controversial. The newspaper has been vocal in its criticism of Russia's actions in Ukraine and the map is based from the war-torn city of Donetsk. The map is called de_voyna and includes a number references to the conflict.
In the near future the developer will soon be releasing a set Source 2 tools for community map makers to utilize in their own designs. case opening will include features such as improved lighting and character read as well as physical-based rendering that creates realistic materials, textures and reflections. It will also make it easier to implement real-world items, such as doors and windows. The update is expected to be released sometime in the summer.
