Easy to install
Fiat 500 key covers are an easy way to freshen up your car keys. You can choose from a range of styles and colors to choose the one that is most appropriate to your style. The first step is to remove the previous cover from your key. The original cover needs to be removed before the new one can be installed.
After you have removed the old cover, use an flat-head screwdriver to take out the four main attachment clips located on the passenger side of the fob assembly. These are highlighted in red on the image below. Note the yellow locating tabs that have to be removed.
After removing the battery replace it with a new 3 volt coin cell battery. The "+" side of the battery should be facing the fob's opening, and the "side that is "-" side should face the buttons made of rubber.
Reattach the passenger-side mirror cover by aligning the locating tabs. Once you've done that then put the fob on the driver's side back in your car and test it. Press the button on the front of the key. If everything is functioning properly, the parking lights should be turned on and the doors will shut.
