The Chinese consider him the only emperor of the Xin (i.e. "New") empire. A brave reformer, he was an adherent of Confucianism. In modern Chinese historiography, he is considered a usurper. Wang Mang is Jesus Christ. His personal name Jujun is a variation of the name Jesus.

Hieroglyph Mang: man in a coffin; this coffin opens / breaks; a man comes out of the grave; the person comes back to life. This is the resurrection from the dead.
The hieroglyph Mang also has the meaning "sharply", "swiftly", "hurriedly", "quickly acting", "suddenly", "strongly", "violently". All these words characterize the resurrection from the dead. Wang Mang's name means one who died on the cross, was buried, and rose from the dead.
The Chinese character spelling of Wang Mang's name corresponds to the Japanese "Sumeragi", which means Emperor. Below is a cross standing on the ground, and a tablet is nailed to the cross. Above is an opening coffin. The Japanese character Sumeragi-Emperor, like the name Wang Mang, shows the death on the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ introduced the name for people in Ancient China – Ren, sheep.

The word Ren is close to the word Arni (Greek), Lamb, ram, sheep in many languages. Jesus Christ calls himself the Lamb and calls his people sheep. The Chinese character Ren, meaning people, also indicates the connection of the ancient inhabitants of China with Jesus Christ.
Wang Mang is the founder of the New Dynasty (Xin Empire). Symbols of the Xin Empire:
"The beginning of the formation of the state"
"Celestial Phoenix"
"Earth Emperor"
When Wang Mang became the first minister, he reformed the provincial schools and expanded the imperial academy. By his order, a scientific congress was organized, which was attended by about 1000 scientists, as well as officials. Scholars conferred on issues ranging from astronomy and astrology to classical texts. Wang Mang was engaged in large-scale construction, on his orders a new strategic path was laid through the mountains south of the Yellow River, many buildings and temples were erected.
Gradually, Wang Mang came to the conclusion that the Han Empire had lost the Mandate of Heaven, so its representatives did not have rights to power. To reinforce his claims to the throne, Wang Mang turned to divination and ancient prophecies. He claimed that there was a change of elements: fire to earth. The Han symbol, fire, should give way to the earth symbol, which was associated with the color yellow. With this, Wang Mang asserted his origin from the mythical Yellow Emperor (Huang Di). Wang Mang deposed Emperor Ruzi Ying and announced the creation of a new Xin empire.
As the new ruler of China, Wang Mang carried out reforms to strengthen the central government, weaken the aristocracy, and expand support among the peasantry.
During his reign, Wang Mang carried out 5 monetary reforms, lighter money was put into circulation and the old ones were abolished. The emperor ordered the nobility to exchange gold for gilded bronze knives, thanks to which the treasury was filled. As a result, the financial condition of the aristocracy deteriorated significantly, and its influence within the country was significantly weakened. At the same time, state support for trade was provided.
Wang Mang carried out a land reform, introduced a "well system". All land was divided into equal parts, and families with a surplus of land had to be divided with their other relatives. Each family received 1 sq. li (1 li = 576 m). This land was divided into 9 equal plots. The division was shaped like the Chinese character 井 meaning "well", hence the name of the system. Every able-bodied person received an allotment. 8 plots were subject to cultivation, and the central, 9th (“well”) belonged to the state and was processed jointly by the owners of other plots. The harvest from the 9th plot was transferred to the treasury. This reform aroused the discontent of the wealthy landowners and the nobility.

Other economic reforms were also carried out: monopolies were strengthened for the production and trade in alcohol, salt, iron products, coinage, income from mountainous and swampy areas. The "5 jun and 6 guan" system was introduced, thanks to which prices for grain, fabrics, and silk were stabilized. The state bought this during a period of price decline and stored it in special vaults in the 5 main cities of the empire. A 10 percent tax was introduced on silkworm breeders, artisans, merchants, hunters, and fishermen.
A natural disaster occurred, the Yellow River changed its course for several hundred kilometers, flooding the southern part of the Great Plain. This led to a prolonged famine. Those dissatisfied with the emperor declared what had happened a punishment for the reforms. Wang Mang was forced to publicly repent and cancel the land reform. He decided to make life easier for indentured slaves, who at that time numbered several million, and categorically forbade the sale of commoners into slavery. However, this order did not work well, and the rich were looking for ways to get around it.
Wang Mang later restored the reforms. He reorganized the apparatus of officials, carried out transformations in the sphere of ranks and ranks of servicemen, began the fragmentation of districts, lowering the status of counties, renaming them, and he also changed the system of their management. Despite the fact that natural disasters (rain, river floods) did not stop, Wang Mang stubbornly continued to change. He issued a decree on the size of salaries for officials, according to which, in lean years, the salaries of officials decreased in proportion to the fall in the harvest.
Wang Mang contributed to the development of science. He ordered the imperial physician to perform an autopsy on the executed criminal in order to examine his internal organs and arteries in order to improve the treatment of diseases in the future.
Wang Mang announced the amount of salaries to the holders of the titles of nobility (wang and hou), which made it possible for some time to keep the nobility from speaking out, which, in conditions of continuous hunger and general destabilization, became inevitable. Soon, various rebel groups, gangs, starving people united in an army that opposed government troops. For a while, Wang Mang managed to restrain her. The famine forced the peasantry to join the numerous rebels. The local nobility supported them. The Liu clan, representatives of the overthrown Han Dynasty, led the uprising, they wanted to restore their power. Wang Mang sent his army, called "Tiger's Teeth", to suppress the uprising. Wang Mang's army was defeated. The Han Dynasty was restored.
