BMW Ghost Immobiliser

Service Mode / Valet Mode

When the service or valet mode is activated it will stop your BMW from being able to drive after it has been started. With the advent of high-tech thieves becoming increasingly and more sophisticated the security technology has to change, that's why Ghost has created this discrete and non-obtrusive immobiliser. It's designed to stop thieves from acquiring a new key or replacing the ECU in order to start your vehicle and drive it away. Ghost links up to your CAN data network and utilizes the buttons on your vehicle (steering wheel and centre console as well as door panels) to create an individual push sequence that must be completed before the engine can be started.
This will activate the anti-hijack mode and, once it is activated any attempt to start the engine will be blocked. The system will hone the horn flashing the indicators, and stall the vehicle in the event that the code cannot be found.
