This is your time to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top-rated models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max is a powerful robot that is equipped with smart mapping and app-based no-go zones. Its 180-minute running time is impressive. It also self-empties itself and automatically refills its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+ is iRobot's most intelligent robot vacuum to date. Its biggest breakthrough is its camera-based obstacle detection system that uses built-in AI to recognize objects like charging cords, shoes and the dreaded pet waste that the majority of other robots cannot avoid (and often slough through). best robot floor cleaner 's the first robot to send you a picture of an object that it encounters, so you can tell that it is safe to avoid it.

The Combo j7+ is also the best robot to mop we've ever tested, removing spills and dirt with ease without leaving any trace that was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and set up Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't sweep areas you do not want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start and stop it using voice.

The design is also superior to the competition. It features a sleek, high-end piece that looks like a toy rather than a loud and obnoxious robot. Clean Base's Automatic Dirt removal It also self-empties which will cut down your cleaning time.

In our tests, we observed that the j7+ was quick to took away dirt, dust, and hair from pets. The rubber brushes that counter-rotate kept the debris in place, instead of scattering it across the floor. It was able capture small pieces of gravel, sand, and even a tiny bit of grit. The majority of robots cannot do this. It did all of this without getting caught in our pet's hair shedding.

While it's not quite as sophisticated as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum, which isn't able to clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent choice for those who need a vac and a mop in their home. It's not expensive and the IRobot app makes it user-friendly.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use, but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner apps. It can take some time to download updates and it is sometimes difficult to know if they are working until you actually see them in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

When you're looking for an automated vacuum cleaner that can do more than just clean floors, the most effective option is likely to be one that is a hybrid. These robots come with a water tank, so they can mop and vacuum simultaneously. These bots also come with many additional features, including smart mapping and small object avoidance and the possibility of washing and re-drying mopping pads. The downside is that they tend to be expensive at retail price, but on Black Friday and Cyber Monday they often drop in price.

Roborock produces some of our favorite robotic vacuums and the Q5+ is no exception. disappoint. It's their most affordable auto-empty model, and while it lacks some of the premium features that are found on more expensive models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's still a great option if you're willing to sacrifice a little to save a few hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is extremely soft when it comes to obstacles like table legs and walls. This makes it an excellent choice for homes that have lots of furniture. It's also extremely thorough in cleaning dust bunnies. This is an area that many cheaper robot vacuums do not excel in. The navigation technology in the Q5+ is superb as well, with only a few missing in corners and along walls.

Like other Roborock devices as well, the Q5+ can be controlled by a few buttons on the device itself or through the Roborock app. The app allows you to start and stop cleanings. You can also set schedules, design virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or re-label rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock, which was specifically designed to make this machine easy to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It has a large LCD screen, which is useful in setting up schedules and adjusting settings. best budget robot vacuum isn't a necessary feature for everyone, but it's one that can help you keep track of the intervals between maintenance for your robot easily.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra is a well-rounded robot mop and vacuum that's incredibly intelligent in its vacuuming and mopping capabilities. Its design is one of the top in the market however it's quite expensive.

It's a tiny base station that looks beautiful and is easily hidden when not in use. The station's main selling point is the fact that it automates a variety of tasks, functions and chores that other robots would leave to you. It can keep clean and dirty water and electrolyze and heat the water. Most other robovacs will require you to perform this.

Its vacuuming capabilities are impressive, too. It's the only robovacs that I've tried that does an excellent job of picking up debris on bare floors, and it's not as loud as the more expensive Roomba 980 or iRobot 900 series.

But the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially in terms of navigation. Its LiDAR sensors and laser sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means it is prone to getting stuck or confused in certain corners or rooms in the home. It's not able climb stairs as well as competitors, either, and it doesn't have an dock that allows you to set up an area for cleaning that is specifically designed for carpets with plush padding.

Although it doesn't have as many in terms of cleaning options available in its app or as many in-app shortcuts as other robovacs, the Freo X Ultra is still an excellent choice for those looking for an all-around great mop and robot vacuum that's worth the price cost.

If you're looking to save some cash, or just don't care about the limitations of this robotic There are many other options on the market which include a variety of eufy models for significantly less. The eufy Qrevo Curv, for example is less expensive and offers a similar in-app experience with additional features such as the ability to climb stairs, a full-function dock, and superior overall performance when vacuuming floors as well as high- and low-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

eufy is an Anker company with a long history of creating robot vacuums that offer the perfect combination of features, performance, and price. The G30 Hybrid is no different and offers a powerful cleaning of hard floors and carpets and mopping function too at a reasonable price. It's easy to set up, just connect one of the side brush, turn it on and plug in your charging dock. The app walks you through a few steps to connect it to Wi-Fi, and the G30 is ready to go. The dock should be located near an outlet and have plenty of space to move.

The G30 is tiny, 2.85 inches tall to be exact It can be tucked away under sofas and other furniture with low clearance. Its design is less flashy than some of the rival models, sporting sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical that control Auto Cleaning, which can be paused or started. Recharge and Spot Clean (which scrubs a space in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to perform cleaning that is not scheduled using voice commands.

The way that the G30 cleans is what differentiates it from its rivals. It uses an integrated map to make a picture of the immovable objects in its path. It keeps track of the items it has cleaned and what it is unable to access. It automatically returns to the base to recharge and continues cleaning the area it left.

The sleek G30 has some flaws. The iRobot Roomba is built better and has lower cost of operation. It is faster to charge, has a similar battery life, and performs better on bare carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin, which does not require as much emptying. robotic vacuum cleaner comes with border strips that block it from certain areas. The G30 is cheaper and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust canister does not require emptying as often and it has less trouble with bulky material like cereal.
