Both robots are good at removing surface dirt on hard floors and carpets and are able to maneuver around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart map of your home to assist the i3+ to navigate and clean efficiently. The i3+ does not have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or any other top-rated robots we have tested. It can get stuck on power cords and socks and have difficulty navigating between surfaces, such as hardwood and rug.
iRobot recommends you clear out areas in which the i3+ EVO will vacuum before you use it, and include clearing out any toys or clutter it might encounter. It's also recommended to keep the dustbin and filter clean so that they aren't clogged by dirt. If the i3+ EVO's internal bin is filled or the battery is empty it will return to its docking station, automatically emptying its dirt into the station's dust bin and continues cleaning the area where it began. The battery's life span is approximately an hour-and-a-half of continuous use. It takes about three hours to charge.
2. IRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model in the iRobot flagship line, and it is equipped with the most recent features. It's self-charging and self-navigating, but the most significant feature is its auto-emptying bin. This eliminates the need for routine maintenance.
The Roomba I7+ can map rooms more efficiently with Imprint Smart Mapping. It also works with iRobot Home to schedule cleaning tasks, and you can direct your robot using the app or by voice.
The i7+ is faster and more agile in our tests than the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces, including carpeting. The biggest benefit over the eufy, though it self-empties its dust bin that removes a major source of maintenance and cuts down on the amount of time spent cleaning.
We were also amazed by the i7+'s compatibility Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant AI services that we used to instruct the robot to start, stop or pause its cleaning routines and to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific space. The iRobot Home App made it easy to connect the i7+ with these services. When connected we were able to give the i7+ voice commands such as "Hey Alexa, vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home app also provides options for managing the i7+'s settings and monitoring its performance.
3. Dyson Cyclone V10
This tiny Dyson model is an athletic car that is amidst a sea of cordless vacuums that feel like minivans and buses. It's powerful enough to replace a stand-up vacuum in the majority of homes, yet it is also small enough to fit on a coffee table or bookcase.
The V10 is powered by a Lithium-ion battery with 7 cells of energy that produces power without fading for 60 minutes. The advanced whole-machine filtering system captures allergens, and then releases fresh air into your home. The cleaning head is specially designed to drive stiff nylon bristles deep into carpet to collect large particles and fine dust. It has three suction modes that can be adapted to the task. It is able to swiftly change from handheld to floor vacuum, and vice versa.
The model also comes with an accessory dock that can charge to 100% in about 3.5 hours and offers easy access to two attachments and the wand clip. This is a huge improvement over the older Dysons models, which take a long time to charge and are difficult to store.
The main drawback of the V10 is its limited running time. As CR's tests show, its marketing claims of up to 60 minutes are misleading. This is a typical not an extraordinary time for an electric cordless vacuum powered by batteries. This is enough time to clean the typical home however, it's not enough time to get into every corner. (A second time generally works). However, this model isn't a good choice: It's lighter and agile than older cordless Dysons and its vacuuming efficiency is better on carpets with low pile.

The 694 is a basic robotic vacuum that's a great option for those who don't have lots of money to spend on an expensive robot. It's capable of sucking up most kinds of debris in our testing, and it often passes over the same areas many times to ensure a thorough clean. The flat front of the unit allows to get into corners and along the edges of walls and walls, which is a nice feature.
Its smart navigation system uses iAdapt to stay clear of obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the ability to map that comes with more sophisticated models like our top choices, the i3+ EVO and j7+ series. In our testing of the Jet Bot AI+ excelled on hard floors, and also handled dog hair (on carpet) quite well, cleaning up 86% of it. However, it did not do particularly well in avoiding taller objects like cords and socks, which was disappointing. It's priced higher than other models we've tested, and this could be a deal breaker for some shoppers.

For instance my living room rug has a darkly colored border that has a tendency to trip up some of the other robots I've tried.
