Upgrades can sometimes increase the power of a piece of gear and sometimes even its extras. The value of these upgrade is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements, and how many random augmentations are applied.

Three types of rerolls tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each of these upgrades the item to a higher quality. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.
