You can replace the Volvo key fob batteries yourself by following a few easy steps. First, locate a clear work area to carry out the procedure. Then, arrange all of the tools you'll need. Then, locate the battery's hatch, and turn it open using a flathead, coin, or a similar tool. Next, carefully pry out the battery by lifting the side closest to the hook of the key-ring. Wear rubber gloves to protect the clips and electronic contact surfaces.
Place the new battery in the socket after the older one is removed. Ensure that the positive side of the battery is facing up, and that all clips are seated.
