Yesterday I have updated my Windows 10 and now Overwatch won’t launch, showing General error 0xE0010160. I have checked on forums and tried all main solutions but none worked.
None of the fixes worked for me. Please help, I cannot launch and enjoy the game.
I will add the Pastebin links to MSInfo and DxDiag shortly.
Hi.
Did you use DDU to remove old graphic drivers? Have you disabled fullscreen optimization?
Goto your Documents folder > Select Overwatch > Delete the Settings folder.
Make sure you deactivate Xbox DVR :

Overwatch is one of the most popular shooters of today but it would be wrong to say that the game itself isn’t buggy. There have been many problems surrounding the game from the start and some players struggle with even launching the game.
The General Error 0xE0010160 message appears after launching the game and it prevents users from playing at all. The error often appears after the game has been updated. Some users reported that restarting the computer works temporarily but it’s not a viable solution as the error comes back shortly after. Follow the steps we have prepared to troubleshoot the problem easily!
The error is mostly caused by old and outdated graphics card drivers. NVIDIA has even rushes to publish a hotfix driver which was supposed to solve the problem with Overwatch. Another problem the game may run into and display the General Error is running out of paging file memory.
Finally, the Fullscreen Optimizations option from Properties seems to bother the game so make sure you disable it!
This was a steaming issue regarding the compatibility between the game and current graphics driver. NVIDIA was quick to release drivers which were able to fix the problem easily and they were referred to as the hotfix drivers. Anyway, the problem should be gone as soon as your update your graphics driver!
Note : If you are on Windows 10, newest drivers are almost always installed alongside other Windows updates so make sure you keep your computer’s OS up to date. Windows Update is run automatically on Windows 10 but you can check for updates manually and install them immediately if you manage to find them.
The scenario above was widely recognized by the gaming community but this problem is a little harder to solve. Even if you have the latest NVIDIA graphics drivers installed which were supposed to solve the problem, the game might need some additional paging file space which it will use if it runs out of RAM.
PRO TIP: If the issue is with your computer or a laptop/notebook you should try using Restoro Repair which can scan the repositories and replace corrupt and missing files. This works in most cases, where the issue is originated due to a system corruption. You can download Restoro by Clicking Here

So I downloaded the game last night and have been playing for like four hours straight. After taking a break I tried to connect and multiple times as I logged in it said connection lost. So I restarted my laptop and suddenly this error message shows up. Any clues as to what I can do?
I'm encountering this problem for the first time tonight.
So I know it's been two months, but have you fixed it?
Sorry dude I downloaded it during the free weekend and once it stopped working I just gave up on it.
Never had this issue before. Played this morning just fine.
Some hours later, now I get this error. I tried 'scan & repair' through the BattleNet launcher, but it says there is nothing to fix.
I had this same problem, and closing Overwolf fixed it for me.
I started getting this as well, happened specifically for me when:
Nvidia drivers were installed, and curiously enough had the same driver update available the next day.
Just reinstalled said updates via Nvidia experience and it's working fine now.
Though I think it changed my settings from boarderless windowed to fullscreen.
just had the same problem i rebooted and it worked fine
