Brighton midfielder Bissum's bail has been renewed.

Yves Byssum, a Brighton midfielder accused of sexual assault, has had his bail extended until November 6, according to The Athletic.

After a rape complaint from a lady whose identity was not revealed, Byssum was apprehended as he left a nightclub on October 6. The midfielder was arrested and escorted to the police station, where he was held overnight before being freed on bail the next day.

In seven appearances for Brighton this season, the 25-year-old Malian has one assist.
