This morning I put my granddaughter in it and it clapess on her I got her arm just in time. Its a bit big for out 11 month old and he is large for his age Truly worthy and well built high chair. I saw one of these high chairs in a restaurant last winter and searched high and low for plans finally finding some. These unique “triple babysitters” as the plans are titled have three functions: a high chair, a rocking horse and a writing desk for each of the grandkids. When I was searching for plans I stumbled across some sold commercially in different shapes with some having the side panels (painted) in an animal shape. We’ll look at that for future projects! Plans were easy to follow and side panels created equal size/shape by using double face carpet tape to hold rough sized panels together while band sawing, jig sawing and oscillating sanding. They are assembled with drywall screws and glue joints, with oak dowel covers . These take a lot of wood and the center section cut out of the sides created some waste that will be used in future projects.
