Wolfgang Tillmans

📷Wolfgang Tillmans (born 1968) is a German photographer.

Using all the photographic technology at his disposal, Tillmans shoots portraits, still-lifes, and landscapes in which the subjects range from partially-nude friends in seemingly private moments to modest arrangements of domestic items on windowsills. 

“I want the pictures to be working in both directions,” he said. “I accept that they speak about me, and yet at the same time, I want and expect them to function in terms of the viewer and their experience.”
