The Mayfair is a portable bed which is packed with clever design features to ensure your guests have a comfortable night's sleep. The 10cm-deep natural pocket sprung mattress features over 400 individual springs, topped with layers of pure cotton and fine lamb’s wool which helps regulate body temperature. This, coupled with a traditional sprung slatted base which provides adaptable support, means that the folding bed offers enhanced comfort and support suitable for regular use. The ultra-slim frame is finished with a hard-wearing epoxy paint, and is designed to be sleek and compact when folded, so you can store it almost anywhere. It features 360-degree castors and fully automatic folding legs so it is easy to put up, take down and move around. Each bed is made in the UK and exceeds British and European safety standards. The frame is covered by a lifetime guarantee for your long-term assurance. Please note: Not all of our ranges are on display in our furniture departments.

Thank you for your feedback We believe in high quality and plenty of choice here at Time 4 Sleep, and all of our pocket mattresses are chosen carefully in order to give our customers a fabulous buying experience by not being disappointed with what they buy. A pocket sprung mattress is different from an open coil mattress as each spring is wrapped individually in cotton. This means three things: Firstly, because the springs move individually, it will mean that only move where you move - independent of who else is in the bed with you! Two, because the springs are separate from each other, it means that they are able to move up and down easily to fully support each different part of your body. And, lastly, the whole unit is silent due to the springs being wrapped in cotton – this means no more pinging!

Depending on what your budget is, there are different models of pocket sprung mattresses – the differences usually being the amount of springs in the unit, or the top sleeping area comprising different materials such as lamb's wool, cashmere or memory foam. In short, the more springs, the better and also the firmer the mattress will feel. Pocket sprung mattresses are available in all common sizes such as a single bed (90cm x 190cm), a compact double (120cm x 190cm), a double bed (135cm x 190cm), king size (150cm x 200cm) and super king size bed (180cm x 200cm). All of our pocket mattresses are standard UK sizes. The right mattress can mean the difference between sweet dreamsand restless nights A good mattress can last up to 10 years: for every £100 spent that’s about 2.7p a night It's important to test a mattress.
