When planning a wedding, many factors come into play for each couple. Selecting the venue is often times one of the most difficult decisions and can feel like a daunting task. When Hailey and Kyle arrived at The Four Seasons Los Angeles, they were greeted with kind staff, true hospitality, and immediately knew that it was the right location. “We knew from the first visit that not only was the venue beautiful, but that they would be a pleasure to work with” says Hailey. Her vision for their wedding was romantic and glamorous which doesn’t even begin to sum up the beauty that was created by an amazing team of vendors for their special day. “The most important thing to us was to have elements of surprise in our design while still feeling like a wedding.” Hailey explains “that without the beautiful custom hanging mirrors, it would have just been another draped ballroom that we’ve all seen time and time again.” It was the small details that were really important to them.
Hailey not only has impeccable decor taste but had a vision to wear 3 custom gowns for each special moment of her wedding with gorgeous coordinating accessories. Her first gown was romantic, soft, and feminine, all words that encompass how you should feel as a bride. Her second dress was more form fitting which added an element of sexy while still being very bridal with the billowing tulle layers on the bottom of the mermaid gown. Her third dress was a gorgeous beaded dress with an illusion back that was perfect for dancing! We have seen many white on white weddings but the transformation of the Four Seasons LA was truly a masterpiece. Starting from the entry to the garden all the way through to the ballroom, every single walk way and space were perfectly draped with luxurious white fabric. Gold and crystal chandeliers adorned each walkway. We loved how the white seamless dance floor covered the entire ballroom, with not one square foot of carpet showing. The tall white floral centerpieces were truly spectacular, but we can’t stop starting at their sweetheart table overflowing with long stemmed white phaleonopsis orchids.
The magic and illumination was created with the rose gold chairs, mirror dining tables and crystal taper candelabras. Up close, gold embossed menu cards and laser cut gold acrylic stir sticks personalized to each guests names. Truly no detail was overlooked. When we asked Hailey to describe a moment that they would cherish forever, dancing with their family and friends on the dance floor was what came to mind. “Each person looked like they were just as happy and overjoyed as the two of us. My venue referred us to Kennedy Couture Linens because they only offered polyester and we wanted something a little more WOW! Their office is closed on Sundays but that was the only day I could make it in so I spoke with Courtney and she opened the showroom just for me the following Sunday. I spent over two hours with her going over fabrics and colors and doing a few mockups. She had so many awesome ideas and at no point did I feel rushed or pushed to buy something. I ended up renting beautiful silver silk shantung linens for my guest tables and eggplant satin rosette linens for my cake and sweetheart table.
We also rented shantung napkins, chiavari chairs, glass beaded charger plates and a few chair caps all of this was for under $7,000 for a 400 person wedding including delivery and setup. Every single linen company I contacted quoted me $10,000 and up not including delivery or setup. 5 weeks before my wedding I called her to update my guest counts and she could tell I was totally stressed out. She told me that they also offered a Month of Coordination service and went over the details with me. After she told me what was included and the price I jumped all over it. Two days later I got a call from their in house wedding planner (Alyssa) and setup a time for me to come in and go over what I need. OMG they are amazing. I was able to wrap up in one meeting what was taking me months to do. They handled all communication with my vendors from that point on and made it manageable for me again. On the day of my wedding they showed up with 5 people who completed my setup in less then 45 minutes and I had 400 guests!
Everything looked so pretty I actually cried when I saw it all setup. I met with 3 linen companies before I decided on Kennedy Couture Linens. They were about the same price wise and had many of the same items but what won me over was Courtney and how nice she was. Working with Kennedy Couture was one of the easiest parts of my wedding.
