We love us some Mies, Eames, and Gropius furniture — but up until now it wasn’t really possible to find tot-sized, or eco-friendly versions of classic Modernist furniture pieces. Happily, Knoll Kids now has a collection of Modernist children’s furniture that is eco-conscious and adorable. The original proportions of iconic pieces such as the Mies van der Rohe Barcelona chair which he designed in 1929, Eero Saarinen Womb chair 1948, Harry Bertoia’s Diamond Lounge chair have been carefully proportioned to accommodate a much smaller inhabitant, or inhabitot, as the case may be.
With this new collection, Knoll maintains their commitment to quality and classic modern design.
