Just wondering whether it's possible to request a memory foam bed in the Hotels or Villas? The mother-in-law has a bad back and normally when they go away to Europe, they can normally get this mattress put in, obviously for an extra charge.

Just wondered whether a Villa owner or Hotel would agree to this request? Has anyone requested something like this previously? If you google "Orlando Villa Memory Foam" then you will get some details of villas offering this. Just checked and the villa we are staying in (Windsor Hills) has memory foam toppers. I don't think you will find it too difficult to find this. PM me if you need details of where we are staying. a lot of the hilton chain have very good beds, cant remember if they are memory foam but are very comfy We had a topper on the bed in our villa this year, it was bloody hot!!! Had to change bedrooms LOL Don't know about the memory foam at hotels, but the Radisson advertises thaty they have the Sleep Number beds. Thanks for the replies peeps! I was thinking that we might end up at Windsor Hills or Sheraton Vistana resort or villages. As said, Radisson has the sleep number beds. We have one at home and it is great. Although it may be time for you to go home before you figure out the best sleep number for you.

I've been to hotels which offer pillow menus (because of allergies and such), but mattress choice sounds a bit much. I don't know for sure, but would imagine what they have it what you get. It would probably be far easier going to Walmart, Target, Kohls, JC Penny, Bed Bath & Beyond or somewhere similar and buying a topper than trying to find a place that offers them or will put one in for you. When it comes to villas, I wouldn't be surprised if some have them and advertise it for marketing purposes, but dare say the majority are simply putting in the least expensive half way decent thing they can find (if not just using what came when the bought the house) I am addicted to memory foam too. If its not available at Vistana Resort, I'll run to Walmart and get a topper. It's worth it to me to not have my usual hotel bed back pain. If I recall, the beds at the Sheraton Vistana Resort were pretty comfy! Hubby and I have back issues and I must say both Sheraton Vistana's have really comfortable beds.

Had no back problems while we were there. We've even looked into ordering a set for home. They are no more expensive than a quality set from a bedding store. -:- Message from TripAdvisor staff -:-This topic has been closed to new posts due to inactivity.
