I too have tried many methods to protect my mattress through our moves. I tried old sheets, plastic wrap, and the old packaging plastic. All of which performed subpar to this linenspa mattress bag. This heavy duty mattress bag is a must have in any house. It fit my queen mattress perfectly, and although it is for mattresses, it can really be used for anything! (couch cushions, pillows, blankets, etc) It is really sturdy and tear resistant. One of the best things about the bag is that it is sealable.
This is wear the "water proof" portion comes in. It is comforting to be able to wrap your mattress up in the bag and not worry about liquids when moving or storing. The bag is very high quality and thick. I can tell that it will be able to withstand moving and storage without ripping or falling apart. The adhesive strips are very sticky. I love how the bag seals very tightly to keep out any bugs or dirt. That is so smart to have that feature on a protector when using it to store or move items. It is big enough to hold our queen mattress without any issues. This product is super versatile though and I love that it can be used to protect any other large object that we need stored or moved. Anything from mattresses, to chairs, to christmas trees, it is big enough to hold them all. I have been very impressed with this item since I received it. I'm not one to write random reviews of things like mattress bags but this product is great! It has a very nice smooth texture but it is super durable at the same time. I scuffed this bag up quite a bit against hard cement and other objects but it shows no signs of wear and tear. I feel like I could drag my mattress through a rocky dessert in this thing and it would still be protected. The bag is also a perfect fit. It's not too tight against the mattress but it's also not too lose. A big concern of mine was that small insects and spiders would get to my mattress. No one wants those things near any of their bedding. This protector is great because It's sealed tight and I don't have to worry about creepy crawlers getting into my mattress.
