In this Instructable, I'm going to show you how to make gummy candies. I made a silicone candy mold using Lego bricks. You don't need to make a custom mold. There are many commercially available silicone molds, or you could just skip the mold completely, and cut them with cookie cutters, a knife, or even scissors.THIS PROJECT IS NOT ENDORSED BY LEGO. DON'T MAKE THE MOLD, OR THE CANDIES FOR SALE. - FOR PERSONAL DELICIOUS GEEKY BLISS ONLY First I'll tell you how to make the candy. I'll explain in detail how I made the mold in step 4. It really is very easy. UserGabebillings made the mold and documented the process in photos. I bought the Food Grade Silicone from Douglas & Sturgess. They are a great San Francisco store that sells artists materials, mostly for sculpture and casting.

They have some great info on their site.If you have kiddos that might mistake real bricks for the candy, you should consider whether it is safe to make these for them. Vegan option There is another kind of jelly candy called gellies or jellies. Those are made with Pectin. It's a different recipe entirely. I don't know how well they would mold though. Here is a Pectin Fruit Jelly Instructable. I haven't tested it in the mold but it seems like it should work. MANILA, Philippines – About 7 LEGO sets are sold every second around the world, and now Filipino shoppers will be able to get theirs too at the first ever LEGO Certified Store in the Philippines. The store, at the Park Triangle in Bonifacio Global City, will open doors May 12.

Check out the photos: Customers can also enjoy two options when purchasing in the store: PAB (Pick-A-Brick): Customers can buy the LEGO elements that they need individually, which they can use when building their own LEGO creations. PAB is sold per 100 grams. BAM (Build a Mini): Allows customers to build their own customized mini figure by choosing a headwear, head, torso, legs and tools/accessories. Each BAM set includes three customizable mini figures. Kids aged 6-14 also have their own activities, like the Monthly Mini Build program, where they can build simple, seasonal, and exclusive mini builds. LEGO will also participate in a "Rebuild Classrooms Project," where they will renovate and construct classrooms and other school facilities. This is in partnership with World Vision. LAJ Marketing Philippines, Inc. was established in 2006 and is the exclusive distributor of LEGO merchandise here in the Philippines. Will you come and check the store out?

Sound off in the comments below! The first LEGO Certified Store is located at the Park Triangle, 11th Avenue cor. Rizal Drive, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. All photos by Manman Dejeto/RapplerEver looked at a stack of Lego bricks and thought to yourself, ‘I’d love to eat that’? But just in case any of us are struck with a sudden urge to stick brightly coloured bricks in our mouths, a group of gimmicky food geniuses have stepped up to offer the Lego burgers of your fevered dreams. To be clear, these are not burgers made of actual Lego. Those would be terrible for your teeth and not very tasty. Instead, Brick Burger, a chain in the Philippines, serves up brick burgers. Which are burgers inspired by Lego bricks. The buns have been made using a special Lego-esque mould, and are available in multiple Lego-appropriate shades. So there’s a bright red burger bun, a black burger bun, and a yellow burger bun. They don’t look particularly appetising, if we’re honest (how can a bun be that red?), but they’re very Instagrammable and perfect for any Lego-obsessed kids.

To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that The burgers themselves are made using pure Australian beef, and come topped with all manner of deliciousness. And alongside their brick burgers, the chain sticks to the Lego theme with Lego figurines placed around each restaurant, giant Lego brick ceiling lights, Lego style chairs, and Lego sets customers can play with while they wait for their food to arrive at their table. They also serve dishes like pasta and chicken wings which, confusingly, have nothing to do with Lego. Maybe they’re provided as an option for anyone with an aversion to eating buns that look like children’s toys. It's a 🍔 burger, not a #Lego #DarthBurger to be exact. With caramelized onions, bacon, mushroom, garlic and bbq sauce #brickburger A post shared by rose bodo (@rose_bodo) on Feb 8, 2017 at 12:56am PST Basically, there’s a lot of Lego stuff at Brick Burger. If you’re really into Lego, you’ll probably like this place. I

f you’re not into Lego, you might want to just go to a normal burger spot, where the buns are smooth and reassuringly golden.
