For the later film, netizens managed to blow up an inset photo on the blank boxes, and the image reveals a few interesting tidbits about the Justice League heroes. Most notably, fans are given a look at Cyborg and his formidable suit technology. In the image, the cybernetic teenager can be seen holding up his arm’s sonic arm canon. As for Aquaman, fans can see that the hero’s minifig is given Jason Momoa’s flowing locks. And, when it comes to the Flash, it appears that the hero is wearing an altered suit. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions. — MisterBatfleck (@Mister_Batfleck) January 31, 2017 Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, from a screenplay by Chris Terrio, and features an ensemble cast that includes Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, Ciarán Hinds, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons and Jesse Eisenberg. There used to be a stigma attached to “direct-to-video” entertainment because for a long time it just wasn’t any good. But for the better part of the last decade, Warner Bros and DC Animation have been giving us plenty of amazing quality adventure stories based on various different DC Comics titles and characters. They’re all pretty fantastic. After the success of The LEGO Movie a couple of years ago, LEGO DC movies have been coming out as well and they’re the comedic equivalent of all those great Bruce Timm shorts. In other words, they rock. We now have the exclusive announcement and trailer for the latest LEGO/DC Comics team up, entitled LEGO DC Comics Superheroes – Justice League: Cosmic Clash, the mouthiest of mouthfuls. In it, the brick-battling Justice League — Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, and Cyborg — must fend off that no-good robotic alien menace, Brainiac, before he bags Earth as the next addition to his shrunken menagerie.

But Brainiac has a secret weapon, and hurls members of the League to different points in time, meaning Batman, Flash, and Cyborg have to assemble the Cosmic Treadmill to get them back. Characters like Supergirl, Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, Lightning Lad, Vandal Savage and Captain fear also make appearances. It’s going to be a heck of a team up. The cast includes some amazing voice talent including Troy Baker (Batman), Nolan North (Superman), Grey Griffin (Wonder Woman), Josh Keaton (Green Lantern), Khary Payton (Cyborg), James Arnold Taylor (The Flash), Phil LaMarr (Brainiac), Jessica DiCicco (Supergirl), Kari Walhgren (Saturn Girl), Yuri Lowenthal (Cosmic Boy), Andy Milder (Lightning Lad), Phil Morris (Vandal Savage), and Jason Spisak (Captain Fear). DC Comics Super Heroes – Justice League: Cosmic Clash will hit Blu-ray, DVD, and on Digital HD via UltraViolent on March 1, 2016, and it will be available on Digital HD only on February 9. The Blu-ray and DVD releases will include an exclusive Cosmic Boy LEGO figurine, while supplies last.

And my goodness, you will hope supplies last. What do you think of the trailer? Will you join the League and build your way to defeating Brainiac? Bizarro’s creation of the Bizarro League has caused confusion amongst the world’s greatest Super Heroes, but an even greater and mysterious threat may force the Justice League and Bizarro League to band together to defeat evil. LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes Justice League vs. Bizarro League - "Flash is Bored" ClipWith almost a year left before Batman faces off against Superman on the big screen, fans of DC Entertainment's Justice League can rest assured that the two heroes will get together onscreen much sooner than 2016.

In fact, it'll only be a few months before the Man of Steel and Dark Knight join the rest of the World's Greatest Super Heroes in the animated LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes — Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom!. The movie, which features Mark Hamill reprising his Flash role as the Trickster (as well as voicing Green Lantern's nemesis, Sinestro), pits the Justice League against a team made up of their worst enemies, including Lex Luthor, Gorilla Grodd, Darkseid and the Joker — but as the trailer below reveals, the biggest problem might be Green Lantern's ego. Really, he's a jerk. In addition to Hamill, actors voicing the heroes and villains in the movie include Troy Baker, Nolan North, Grey Griffin, John DiMaggio and Dee Bradley Baker, who plays dual roles as the good guy Martian Manhunter and ambiguous Man-Bat. The movie is directed by Rick Morales, with Jim Krieg writing. LEGO DC Comics Super Heroes — Justice League: Attack of the Legion of Doom! will be released on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and Digital HD on Aug. 25.
