This purchase was for a bed bug problem and it ...|Good if you actually NEED a full encasement protector, which you probably don't.|I'd probably give this 3 stars except I think that'd be a little unfair.This is a full encasement protector. Make sure that's what you need (versus one that goes on like a fitted sheet). If you're mostly concerned about waterproofing (eg, a toddler bed) skip this. Unless you're worried about bedbugs I'd say skip this. First and biggest problem -- this is designed to fit mattresses up to 15". If you have a mattress that is not 15" or very close, this protector is very, very baggy. There's no way to prevent that, and it will bunch up even on the top. It makes things unpleasant.Second, you will eventually want to wash this thing (it's waterproof, not stainproof). That's not very easy with a full encasement.
My other problem is this thing was NOISY and uncomfortable. This was made much worse by the fact that it fit like a pug's skin.All that made me want to leave a 3 star review, but a lot of the problems I have are because this is not the right mattress protector for me. It's still not quite a five star product (I think even tight against the mattress this will be noisy), but a solid 4. It seems well made and sturdy.
