In early 2011, a new phenomenon hit eSports: BarCrafts. The concept was simple: gaming enthuasiasts meet in a bar to watch a tournament in their favorite game, have a drink or two and meet other fans.At that time the concept was too small to attract attention and the community struggled to find locations to regularly host.

However, gamers were becoming more numerous and their voices louder. That's how, in May 2012, a new place was born: Meltdown. A bar dedicated to eSports and gaming, with the goal of proving day in, day out, that videogames can be a social rather than solitary activity. The amazing success of this bar called for fast expansion: the international community called for more Meltdown! Thus began a great adventure... RIGHT NOW AT MELTDOWN Everyday, Meltdown bars around the world broadcast the best eSports streams of the moment. To make things better, 5 to 10 computers are available at each location and events are organized on a daily basis: tournaments, showcase of a new game, showmatch or coaching session; it all happens at Meltdown.Discover below some of the events we organized for our partners. Meltdown bars have had the honor to welcome the best players and figures of eSports in the world. Some of these players joined team Meltdown to proudly represent the brand during the most prestigious events.

Amongst them: Luffy (2014 Street Fighter world champion), Stephano (2011 Starcraft II world champion), Neo (2014 Super Mario Kart world champion), and the team that has conquered 2015 QuakeCon. MELTDOWN IN THE PRESS "This eSports bar is a temple of competitive gaming." "The people here are friendly – much more so than the fronting hipsters who clog many of the area's trendy pubs and bars." "At Meltdown, videogames aren't just a facade. You feel at home there." "Meltdown is the rendez-vous place of a whole connected generation!" "The place is alive. Fans are packed in tight, eyes glued to projector screens." "This atypical tavern gives geeks a break from their usual asocial sterotype." "During the games, the atmosphere in Meltdown can be compared to a top match of the Bundesliga." "There is no place for clichés at Meltdown." 8’ wide and 4’ tall Filled with Premium Shredded Durafoam 6’ wide and 4’ tall 5’ wide and 3.5' tall
