Getting to a big box store is a challenge, assembly can be hundreds of parts, and disassembly even more difficult. If you find a frame, slats end up breaking. We designed a minimal, low-profile floating bed, that allows for a comfortable night's sleep, with a super sturdy platform (that doesn’t bend or slump over time). It's also modular –– meaning you can expand from a twin to a queen or king as your lifestyle changes.

The Floyd Platform Bed –– Patent Pending An extremely sturdy construction of minimal parts.Thoughtful DesignThe wooden panels are made from real birch veneer (not the fake stuff!) giving your room a warm feeling. The Clips are beautiful objects in themselves. The Floyd Platform Bed easily moves with you and one person can assemble it in a few minutes. The Floyd Platform Bed consists of 3 parts: Wooden Panels: a special honeycomb technology utilized by NASA. It’s extremely strong, yet very light.
The Supports: 11 gauge cold rolled steel that slide on and fit snug on to the platform edge. The Straps: for tension and keeping everything together.
