French Camp B&B: Great Place to Stay on January 02, 2017 This was our second time to stay at French Camp Bed and Breakfast. We were able to stay in the Burford Cabin both times. Even though it was during the holiday season, we were treated with every courtesy and all of our needs were taken care of.The individuals who work there are very friendly and treated us like family. She offered us hot coffee or tea, which we took her up on. Our little cabin was so quaint and homey, we wished we had gotten there earlier so we could have made a fire in the wood stove. Dianne told us breakfast was at 8 the next morning. When we got over to the main dining room , the tables were set and ready.
The breakfast was being prepared and it smelled divine. Every thing was hot and fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed it! Overall, I couldn't be more pleased with our stay. The staff and young French Campy Academy boys and girls who help run all the facilities are a pleasure to deal with. Not a luxury accommodation, but if you are looking for clean, healthy, quiet, genuine, pleasant, friendly country folk to accommodate you, this is the place. So glad you enjoyed your stay! A Step Back in Time on August 17, 2016 French Camp B&B is a unique, peaceful retreat that's a welcome escape from the everyday grind. We stayed over on a rainy night during the week and pretty much had the place to ourselves. I loved sitting out in a rocking chair on the big front porch, looking out on the green fields and hearing the rain pelt against the roof. As a writer of historical fiction, I could imagine writing my next novel tucked away in one of the guest cabins. on August 15, 2016 This was my first stay in a B&B and I was sold. I had a great time and intend to go back. My wife and I were treated first class. Best on the Trace on July 29, 2016 This is one of the best kept secrets. Recommend a stay if you can! on July 23, 2016 Most comfortable sheets and pillows we've ever slept on. Beautiful site with historic buildings, gift shop and modest adjacent cafe for lunch and dinner, and excellent breakfast in the main historic building at the B&B. Explore the historic cabins, read the inscriptions on the family cemetery monuments, and pet the ponies next to the barn and blacksmith shop. Tiny town with P.O. to mail postcards from your trip. Not simply a place to spend the night, it is a destination! on July 08, 2016 There are not enough superlatives to give adequate accolades to the French Camp Inn! This is not simply a place to spend the night, it is a destination! Though the inn is created from two or three log houses from the mid-1800s and has all the warmth and beauty imaginable, it has the luxurious, modern creature comforts that I enjoy. Included was a fabulous (and generous portioned) breakfast served beautifully. In addition to the delights of the FC Inn, I took a morning walk through the French Camp Historic District.
