Marginally better than the other one I just read in this series. This is not my type of writing. There is little to no detail or attempt at realism. No real indication of how much time is passing, no attempt to make these peoples lives in any way realistic. Its all rainbows and unicorns, smoke and mirrors. It lacks any concreteness at all. Then at the end someone sees the hero kissing another woman and when the heroine asks for an explanation the hero refuses to explain and is all insulted and walks out on her and their marriage. And he thinks shes being so unreasonable. It seems to me that if she had just accused him and kicked him out that would be unreasonable. Asking for an explanation is reasonable. Just think of all the other harlequin books whose dilemmas could have been solved if someone had just said hey I saw you kissing some other woman, care to explain? See? Reasonable. I have some other books in this series but I think Ill give them a miss. Its odd but Ive read other books by this author that were not this vague, half formed sort of writing. Hmmm, again.
