We overcame both through our past experiences ...working with our lightweight aluminum material and making appropriate modifications to our designs to fulfil the needs and physical attributes of each and individual recipient. Meet Lucy, the sweet and gentle 11 yrs old Great Dane and by far the largest dog that we've custom built our wheel cart for. Some 3-4 months back, due to sudden spinal / nerve condition, she started losing strength in both her back legs followed by loss of muscle mass due to her inability to walk effectively. Simon and Deven decided on the custom built back wheel cart for Lucy to have as much quality of life and exercise ( as well maintain muscle strength and tone for her fro...nt legs ). Lucy took a little while to adjust walking aided by the back wheel cart and soon was trotting along. Being very much an outdoor gal, she was rather moody cos of sudden loss of mobility and having to lie down almost all the time.
Jeannie Lowe - Lim made a quick decision to have a custom built back wheel cart for Pebbles so she can continue to enjoy her outdoor ventures and she definitely have her smiles to show. As with most d...ogs, there was hesitation initially but after some coaxing Pebbles got to understand her back wheel cart better and was happy and comfortable to walk off leash at her own pace. Happy Wheels for Furkids added adjustable (length) leg pocket which are more comfortable and secure while holding up Pebbles legs and another addition was a lower cross bar ( between the wheels ) to make the lower frame firm and rigid to support Pebbles weight. Though with age, Gypsy is healthy but have some minor mobility condition like hip dysplasia and arthritis in which she's getting acupuncture treatment and is responding well.
Ms Ana decided on the back wheel cart more of preventive measure to assist Gypsy to walk better and further for exercise and muscle tone with minimal stress to her back legs. Lucky have been with her new family for the last 10 years. Besides having cloudy vision, some time back she started having problems walking as her back legs are unable to hold her up for reasonable period of time and recently started to show sign of front legs weakness but otherwise is managing alright. Her family decided on a custom... back wheel cart to start off Lucky to be able to walk better and with some hesitation when initially introduced but soon warmed up and was using her wheel like a pro.

Prior to getting his custom built wheel cart, his caregivers would use a towel to hold up and support his belly while he walks about which can be very tiring and back breaking. Cooper's back wheel cart changed all that as both caregiver and he can enjoy the walk together.
