Dungarvin provides a campus setting targeted to support 16 people on the Community Alternatives for Disabled Individuals (CADI), Brain Injury (BI), and Elderly waivers as well as private pay. Dungarvin Minnesota offers Assisted Living Plus Supports for these core areas: Dungarvin provides short-term transitional placements in a range of homes. This service is typically provided to a person who is in a crisis situation and need a place to live temporarily. We are able to support a person in need by placing him or her in a currently vacant placement, or as an addition to the people being served in a site. We can provide 24-hour services to people who have challenging behaviors, medical needs, or physical disabilities. Most services are for 90 – 180 days. Dungarvin Minnesota offers Transitional Services for these core areas: In-Home services are developed to provide supports to a child, adolescent or adult living with his or her family or in their own living environment. We serve individuals with a broad range of abilities and needs and our in-home services vary. The person and the family design the level of support and service that is needed. In-Home Services are developed to serve people in his or her own living environment.
We serve individuals with a broad range of abilities and needs. A child or family member may require supervision for his or her daily living routines or assistance with accessing community resources. The child or family member is monitored and supervised to the extent requested by the team. We may go into the person’s home to assist family members with managing his or her finances. We may take them out weekly for swimming, grocery shopping, community education classes, or social events. In-Home respite care is also available. We can provide in-home services in any county we contract with throughout the state. ILS services are very similar to the In-Home Services described above. The most significant differences are that this is not available to those on the MR/RC waiver. It is for those people on the BI, CAC, or CADI waivers. Dungarvin Minnesota’s Case Management services are available to Ramsey County residents who receive funding through Medical Assistance, Home and Community Based Waivers including Developmental Disabilities (DD), Brain Injury (BI), Community Alternatives for Disabled Individuals (CADI), and the Elderly Waiver (EW). Our case management team assists in the navigation process of an everchanging social service system. The Dungarvin team provides information and advocacy in accessing a variety of service options and providers within each person’s community and works closely with them to ensure their satisfaction. Dungarvin Minnesota offers Case Management Services for these core areas: Vocational services provide individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities assistance with the initial stages of the employment assessment period, job searching and development, job coaching, and working independently.
In Minnesota, Dungarvin provides one-to-one employment and training services to people with disabilities with the goal of finding real work and real pay. We can assist people with a developmental disability, brain injury, physical disability, or mental illness with defining and reaching work related goals. Dungarvin is committed to flexibility. People can select from a wide variety of options to achieve personal goals as well as exercise individual choice in the design of services. Dungarvin Minnesota offers Vocational Services for these core areas: Dungarvin's hourly supports provide staffing only when a person needs assistance. Staff are scheduled to be on-site to assist an individual according to his or her personal needs and goals. In some instances, staff may only drop by to assist with medication needs or financial assistance. In others, staff may be scheduled for longer time periods to assist with additional daily living skills. Dungarvin Minnesota offers Hourly Supports for these core areas:

These sites serve individuals of various need levels, including individuals with significant medical, physical, or behavioral challenges. Staffing levels vary by the needs of the people being served. The focus of these services is to enhance independence and quality of life. Dungarvin's residential services are very flexible and easily modified to meet changing abilities, interests, choices, and needs of individuals. Supported Living Services (Residental Group Homes) These programs are licensed as adult or child foster care or as a supervised living facility by the Minnesota Department of Healthy, and have a program or service license from the Minnesota Department of Human Services under 245B. Dungarvin Minnesota operates nearly 60 SLS sites throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan, Hutchinson , and St. Cloud areas. Each site serves two to six people.
These sites serve people of various need levels, including people with significant medical, physical or behavioral challenges. Staffing levels vary by the needs of the people being served. Supported Apartment Services is an alternative to traditional adult foster care that allows flexibility to provide services tailored to the person. These services are designed to adapt to the increasing or decreasing needs of people who live in their own apartments. Services available include 24-hour emergency staff response with technology and supplemental support in areas including budgeting, menu planning, grocery shopping, assistance with medical appointments, and additional areas as identified. Supported Apartment Services are located throughout the metropolitan and greater MN area. Dungarvin Minnesota offers Residential Services for these core areas: Foster care is a specialized service providing safe, loving homes and intensive support to children or adults with traditional, special and/or complex needs.
