New life Out of the Dark is a High Wycombe-based charitable social enterprise whose aim is to give young people from disadvantaged backgrounds specialised skills in furniture restoration. The organisation relies on donated pieces of furniture, which it revamps, restores and sells on.

Chic chicks The feelgood British design firm Mini Moderns has collaborated with the artist Matt Sewell to create a limited-edition of 10 sets of four wooden birds hand-decorated with Mini Modern’s range of recycled paint.
