Such a lovely stay! on October 26, 2016 My sisters and I just spent a lovely overnight at Elaine's. What a great stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bedroom was very comfortable and there was attention to detail. (soaps, creams, real wine glassess, ice bucket, plenty of lighting, new television) Patrick was especially friendly and helpful. Eggs Benedict was amazing!! We will certainly be back! on June 07, 2015 My wife and I stayed at Elaine's for three night. We were in Cape May celebrating our Wedding Anniversary. Everyone at Elaine's was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean and the room service was excellent. A delicious breakfast served on the porch was a highlight each morning. We enjoyed the dinner and the theatre show with lots of laughter. Many activities at the B & B that we could be involved with.
Would definitely recommend Elaine's Bed & Breakfast if you are looking for lodging in Cape May. on October 08, 2014 My husband and I have been coming to Elaines for the past 10 years. Their breakfast is amazing.The rooms are so charming, clean and comfortable. We always get room number 4 for the terrace is off of the room for late night cocktails and cuddling. The owner/innkeeper Silvia is cool chic, shes dynamic by always pre-exposing Elaines to new ideas. Her porch side happy hours are so comfortable. The atmosphere is FANTANTASIC. I highly reccomend it. Knock Wood and God Willing we will be back here every year for our wedding anniverasry for we fell in love at Elaines. on July 02, 2014 Elaine's Victorian Inn was in a great location with kind and helpful staff. The breakfasts were also excellent. However, our room was small with barely room to walk around the bed and was a mixed bag as far as decorating. We had an Asian bed and night stands; aqua lamps and nothing matched.
I thought Victorian Inns had Victorian décor! The carpets needed cleaning. The bathroom however, was large and very clean. There was no room to sit in our room and the only alternative was the porches where we felt compelled to buy drinks instead of just utilize them as part of our package. Great Location ~ Not as touchy-feely, lol. on May 23, 2014 I've actually stayed in 3 different rooms in Elaine's...all in one stay lol. The first was on an upper floor...it was spacious and well-decorated, but the steps going up were a killer! The two first floor rooms I stayed in were tiny but clean and the decor was again lovely.(tho a tad overpriced for the size but considering the season it was understandable) I went to the dinner show and had a FABULOUS time. Breakfast was tres lovely on the veranda and I loved that they contribute to the upkeep of feral cats in the neighborhood at an adjoining property. It was a very good stay, albeit ~ tis more impersonal than some. More hotel-ish I'd say.
(Though I rush to acknowledge my every need was taken care of!) Great B and B on August 11, 2013 Our first time staying at Elaine's, great experience. We will stay there again. Charlie and Pam Wallace on April 24, 2013 I have never been to a bed and breakfast and my fiance didn't care for them. Well we stayed at Elaine's April 2013. From the moment Carol greeted us until she said good-bye, we had the perfect recharge of life weekend. The room and food were wonderful and we laughed the whole time during the dinner theater. Driving home my fiance turned to me and said, " we found OUR PLACE". Thank you Elaine's you will be see us again.... on August 27, 2012 Just got back from a weekend at Elaline's and i must say it was perfect! They are so accomodating and very informative! The staff just can't seem to do enough for you, they make you feel like family...The room was very nice...my only complaint would be i wish they had bigger vanities in the bathroom... but don't let that deter you...the breakfast is to die for!
I've traveled all over the world and my family agreed....Elaines got the best breakfast! The great thing is that it is close to everything! Great spot and great eats!!!!! on August 17, 2012 We had a great stay in Cape May and had a fabulous time at Elaine's. Our room was ready and very clean. Plenty of clean towels and the beds were very comfortable. We stayed in Room 7. Very close to Mall and beach. Chairs and towels are also provided for the beach. We enjoyed dinner at the Haunted Mansion and having a drink at the bar. Breakfast was surely the best part of the day, you surely will not be disappointed as there is something for everyone on the menu. Planning a return visit this winter to Cape May and I know who I am calling first:) on September 04, 2011 I stayed in 3 different rooms during my stay and all were lovely. The first floor rooms were small but quaint...furniture is unique; The third floor room I had originally booked was gorgeous & spacious, but the many steps are steep and my arthritis just couldn't do it, so the staff graciously exchanged rooms for me and even gave me a room credit on the lesser $ rooms.
