Weather dependant you may hold your ceremony in our exclusive private garden. Cocktail hour can be held on our covered terrace, followed by a full seated dinner on the covered terrace (up to 110 guests seated) or in the house itself (up to 140 guests seated).
If the weather does not cooperate you may still have the ceremony on the covered terrace with the cocktail reception either on the terrace or inside, still with room for a full seated dinner and a dance floor. We can fit your event plans rain or shine!. Ask about our Ceremony only daytime option. Additionally, wedding rehearsals are free of charge and a date can be placed on hold at anytime. We confirm the date up to 2 weeks prior to the event. All rental rates noted below include: Rates effective January 2016 – December 2017 October 17 – April Daytime (9:30am – 3pm) Evening (5:30pm – 1am) Monday – Thursday $1,400 Sunday (Closing at 12am) $2,000 May – October 16 Monday – Thursday $1,800 Sunday (Closing at 12am) $2,650 UBC Alumni, Faculty and Staff members receive a 10% discount on room rental.
$500.00 will be taken as a damage deposit. This will be refunded to you after the event. Any damages, overtime or excessive fees will be applied to the damage deposit. Payment for all rentals is accepted by cheque or credit card (Visa or MasterCard). For statutory holiday bookings, rental rates are Sunday weekend rates plus an additional $300 fee per booking to cover staff costs. Cecil Green is exclusive with Scholar’s Catering.
