She was more than helpful towards us. No request to big or small. A true pro at her job. Especially reception and waiting staff were amazing ! Very professional , but yet still personal. Made us feel like royalty for the day ! We can't recommend them highly enough ! A must visit to view there fabulous banquet room and grounds , to any bride-to-be. Our Wedding was a brilliant day, one we will never forget. This day was especially brilliant due our Wedding venue " The Four Seasons Carlingford" Caroline and the staff were the most accommodating, friendliness and helpful people I have ever meet, the wedding food was the delicious, and ample. A lot of our friends and family stayed the two days after our wedding and kept commenting on how good of stay they had with us in Carlingford, so much so that they all stated to us that they will be celebrating our wedding anniversary with us every year if we kept going back to the Four Seasons Carlingford!!
Myself and my husband Shane had our wedding in the Four Seasons hotel Carlingford. When we were looking for a venue The Four Seasons was recommended to us by a number of people. When we went to look at the venue we could see why. The staff were so friendly and offered a package which included everything we were looking for from a sparkling wine reception for our guests to chair covers as well as a choice of starter/dessert as well as a main course. The room in which the reception was held was spacious and had loads of room for dancing. once we had booked our wedding, every time we visited the hotel or had any queries regarding the wedding the staff was always helpful and made us feel at ease. We knew on the day of the wedding we would have nothing to worry about. On the day of our wedding the service was excellent, there was plenty of staff on and the food was gorgeous - hot and full of flavour. There was nothing we could have complained about and each of our guests commented on how good the service and food was.
Caroline and Mairead, two managers were present all day at our wedding from we arrived until it finished and was willing to do anything we needed. The next day we had the BBQ included in our package and 80 people was there. This large number was not a problem to the hotel and again the food was served hot and there was plenty for everyone. Thanks to the Four Seasons myself and my husband had a wonderful day as did all our guests. Infact some of our friends have since booked their wedding there after being at ours. We are so grateful to the staff at the four seasons for making our day so special. - Fantastic hotel - great food , fantastic service both for food and in the bar, excellent location, gorgeous setting and garden for photos. We got married in The Four Seasons Carlingford... I could not recommend this venue or its staff enough. The venue itself is beautiful, the location is fantastic such a quaint village with many picture opportunities, a photographers paradise. We got our pictures taken at a few location's near by such as one of the castles and the pier directly across from the hotel.
The grounds of the hotel also have a beautiful setting which we were the able to get all our family pictures taken. Everyone at our wedding boasted about how lovely the food was and serviced by the most delightful people. Even the staff seemed to be enjoying their day of work. From start to finish I was put at easy and everything just seemed to flow, they knew what they were doing and it was clear to see which left me and my husband with only one thing to do and that was to enjoy our day. Just want to thank the staff and management for making Gary and my wedding day so special. Everything ran extremely smoothly, food was gorgeous and service great! You've either got it or you don't, and they've got it!!! My husband and I held our wedding reception at the Four Seasons Carlingford. This was the second hotel we looked at and following our meeting with the fabulous wedding coordinators, we knew we didn't have to look any further...The girls were only too happy to answer my many emails in the run up to the wedding which really made the planning all the easier.
I appreciated this in the last few weeks especially given that they had a wedding EVERYDAY for almost 3 weeks before my wedding. On the day everything was just perfect! No evidence of the many previous weddings. We were running a little late but it didn't phase them and they were happy to accommodate. Greeted with a glass of champagne and a photo, I was amazed to find this used for the personalised wedding menus! Now that's quick service. The meal was fantastic & service impeccable. Mairead was even kind enough to keep the top table posted on the Armagh score, from the Ulster semi-final replay, throughout the meal. All of my guests thoroughly enjoyed their dinner with quite a few commenting on the chocolate cups specifically. A swift and flawless turnaround for the evening reception was a credit to the professionalism and experience of the staff. The best was to come for me as I took this time to nip down to the bridal suite for a snoop. I'm not sure if this was a new addition since we had booked or if they like to keep it a surprise for the day.
Regardless, we were blown away! The whole day was a success start to finish and was further enhanced with complimentary use of the health suite to freshen up in the morning followed by a barbecue with our guests on a gloriously sunny day in the beautiful garden area. I honestly felt like we were the most important people in Carlingford that weekend! It really was pure luxury at outstanding value! I recommend this hotel to everyone I know and will continue to do so. They are thoroughly deserving of every award they have received. Thank you for making our special day the best we could have hoped for. We held our wedding reception in the Four Seasons Hotel Carlingford!! The staff were amazing especially Caroline, she could not have been more attentive & everything was perfect! Would highly recommend this venue for a wedding! Massive thanks to all staff for such a fabulous day!! The staff in the Four Seasons Hotel left no stone unturned to ensure we and our guests had a fantastic weekend wedding to remember.
