My one negative would be that when i arrived at 10:30 with my 2 friends (after phoning up the day before to book a table) i was met with a confused face when i told them my name and booking.
i was told there was not a booking made. I found that a bit insulting. luckily a table had just... We visited coffee architects today while visiting our son. He has visited before and said he wanted to take us to this amazing place and it was amazing. We sat outside, which we were a little unsure of because it was chilly out, but there are blankets on the seating and our lovely waitress offered to do us all hot... Visited here on my birthday with my boyfriend for a coffee and what an amazing gem! Staff where really friendly, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, food looked fantastic - especially the cakes!! Coffee was fantastic, it was brewed the proper way which is great to experience in a chain dominant market. Great options for vegan, vegetarian, gluten free diets... Hopped in for a quick coffee and catch up and so pleased we did! The range of gluten free cake options was such a pleasant change to see and they tasted amazing with a fantastic portion! Proper coffee made all the difference and an absolute world away from high street coffee shops.
Despite a busy cafe, we were served quickly... Called in today for coffee and croissants. What a lovely place, helpful staff and superb looking food. We will definitely be back soon. This place is leaps and bounds better than those chain coffee shops found on every high street...... The warmest of welcomes, delicious healthy food (and lots of it), wonderful coffee, a totally unique experience that leaves the likes of other high street coffee shops well and truly in the dark. Don't waste your time and money going anywhere else - this is where it's at! This is one of those wonderful places which could become a victim of its own success: It is often impossible to get a table! The more we share how truly fantastic it is, the busier it gets. Part of its charm is the style of the venue, which adds to the character and experience. The cake is simply superb with... I overheard they were considering looking for a bigger cafe and it's about time! We sat outside on our visit last week as inside was full.
The heaters and blankets were a god-send and a nice touch. The BLT sandwich was delicious and filling. The chai latte was not strong enough even though last time it was perfect, also not... “Brilliant - if you can get a space” I visited coffee architects with my husband and children today. We were met by very friendly attentive staff. The cappuccinos were perfect, and the cakes and breakfasts were very yummy too. In my eyes it's all about the coffee and they were the highlight.. Staff so friendly and helpful. Food lovely and tasty. I have seen people eaiting outside to get a table on a sat morning.
