Daughters wedding Sept 2016 By Jan, on 05 Oct 2016Date of Wedding - 14 Sep 2016 My daughter got married here on 14th September and we could not have wished for a better venue. First, Tom who looked after us all day was marvelous, he was very friendly, and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, everyone in party commented on how nice he was. Second was the food, had a la carte and again everyone could not praise the food enough, excellent quality and also plentiful. Third the hotel room was very good, bed was really comfy, plenty of tea and coffee in the room, complimentary slippers and bathroom products were very good. Fourth was breakfast, everything you could wish for and staff were all very nice in dining room, quick to serve and helpful. We live over 200 miles away, so apart from once last year when met with wedding coordinator everything was done by email, so I was a bit worried that things could go wrong. But I worried needlessly, everything went smoothly on the day, so thanks Tom for doing a great job.

you will not be disappointed if you pick here for your wedding.Dream Wedding By Mandy Long, on 05 Oct 2016Date of Wedding - 14 Aug 2016 My daughters wedding was held her on 14th August and I cannot praise the hotel and its staff sufficiently lyndsey and Daryl the wedding planners were professional and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Hans and Dennis were smiling helpful and I simply cannot thank the staff enough. We had afternoon tea for the wedding breakfast which was lovely as was the hog roast for the night do. I stayed with my daughter in the penthouse Room 300 for the first night and it was a fabulous place for my daughter to get ready for her wedding. The breakfast was superb and varied. I have never been to this hotel before but will be certainly visiting again I also had the best massage I have ever had at the beauty spa, it is a shame that it is closing for a refurbishment. I hope the management allow their services to be retained as I would love to come back and have a beauty treatment in my room whilst the refurb is under way.
