Even after they redid the front area and gave the interior a facelift, still they havemthendirtiest bathroom, and that front area seems to attract the overflow of homeless people from the SC Roasting Co. across the street. same old same old globally available coffee experience with no local flavor.

far better to cross the street and to the Santa Cruz Coffee Roasting Company. This joint offers the same GMO coffee served at every other location. However, this particular one is a bit under the weather when it comes to cleanliness.Keep walking to LuLu's just a block and a half down Pacific. They have incredible coffee and delectable treats - set in a dark, cherry wood, exposed brick cafe. Reminds me of Europe. If you like a variety of coffee this is the place. They have free wifi and if you like Starbucks this is as good as any. I'm sorry that so many people go to Starbucks in downtown Santa Cruz when we have Santa Cruz Roasting Company right across the street and Peet's a block away. The shop is centrally located in the shopping district on Pacific Avenue. I've been to the restaurant several times. It's a typical Starbucks with all the usual coffee and tea drinks, salads, sandwiches and sweets. The courtyard in front of the restaurant is pleasant; it's a nice shaded area where you can get out of the sun...

I am generally not a fan of Starbucks yet this store is a reserve store. They prepared my coffee from the beans I wanted and the way I like them prepared. What a nice cup of coffee.. I generally rate Starbucks Very Good if it's a typical Starbucks with predictably decent coffee, and this one is in that category. It is set back a bit from the street, with a small garden-type area in front of it, so do keep your eyes open so as not to miss it. This Starbucks is downtown so parking is a bit of a challenge (for a person not familiar with area) they do have a nice outside patio and the baristas were very nice The place is set-back from the street - a small cosy place but busy. We, a group of three friends, had gone on a Saturday afternoon for some coffee & conversation. We had cake slices, cake on a stick, black coffee and cappuchino. We prefered to sit inside, but there was outside seating. The service was swift. Amblyopia (Lazy Eye) - Amblyopia, also referred to as lazy eye, is a lack of normal visual development in an otherwise healthy eye.

The condition affects ~3% of the population, and can cause a loss of vision if untreated. Amblyopia is most commonly caused by uncorrected refractive error (nearsighted, farsighted or astigmatism) or strabismus (eye-turn). ARMD - Age related macular degeneration (ARMD) is a disorder of the macula resulting in central vision loss and/or distortion in patients 50 years and older.  ARMD presents in two forms: Dry ARMD and Wet ARMD. The dry or non-exudative form results from deposits that form under the retina that cause damage to the retinal tissue. Preventing progression of more advanced forms of the disease is often supplemented with a specific combination of vitamins and antioxidants. The wet or exudative form of ARMD is the more advanced form of the disease. This results with the development of new blood vessels under the retinal tissue, which often leak blood into the area. This leakage of blood can cause significant vision loss, and is often treated with ocular injections that prevent the growth and leakage of new blood vessels.

Cataracts - Cataracts are a clouding or opacification of the lens in the eye causing a reduction in vision and glare/light sensitivity. Cataracts are most often a cause of the natural aging process of the lens, but can also be a result from other conditions (trauma, medication usage) or may also be present from birth (congenital cataracts). Diabetic Retinopathy - Diabetic retinopathy is caused by complications from diabetes resulting in damage to the retinal blood vessels. This damage can cause bleeding in the retina. In more advanced cases, new abnormal blood vessels may also form in various parts of the eye which may cause severe vision loss. Dry Eye - Dry eye syndrome is a result of insufficient lubrication to the ocular surface, typically causing symptoms such as stinging, burning or irritation. When tear production has decreased or tears evaporate too quickly, patients may become symptomatic for dry eye. Various treatments exist to treat the symptoms of dry eye syndrome, depending on the underlying cause of dry eye.
