Reviewer: from Los Angeles I really liked the style of this swimsuit...definitely sexy in a more subtle way and seemed like the material is high quality. Problem for me was the fit; definitely too short for me torso-wise and the top part didn't provide me much secure coverage. I'm not even that big in the chest mind you but I couldn't see myself doing laps in this suit without adjusting the top portion every time. Sadly, I had to return it. I think overall the Vitamin A line of bathing suits is just gorgeous but for my body type, isn't for me. This is the perfect simple triangle bikini top. It has a classic triangle top design with mesh on the sides and it is a beach staple for me. Reviewer: from Chicago, IL Fits true to size. Is very stylish over a one piece. I bought this to use in Key West, Florida.

I felt beautiful and sexy! This was super cute but runs VERY small. I ordered one size up and it was too short as well as minimal chest coverage I agree with the other reviews. Super cute suit but runs really small. I returned for a larger size and still had issues. I do have a longer torso as well. Luciana Full Coverage Bottom Reviewer: from Louisville, KY I was really excited to get these, especially because it is so hard to find full coverage bathing suit bottoms nowadays. However, when I tried this on, it was nowhere near full coverage. It was good material and very well made, just not full coverage. This ran wide to me so I sent it back. Definitely meant for a smaller chested woman. great coverup that doesn't look like a coverup. black is substantial enough to not be seethrough but thin enough to be comfortable in the heat and humidity. and the cut is super flattering too! gorgeous cover that doesn't look like a coverup. photo captures how sheer the white is but black is comfortable in the heat (i.e., not thick or sweaty) and from the front just looks like a cute jumper.

great cover up that doesn't look like a cover up. black is gorgeous but white is obviously very see-through. comfy, substantial, and worth the price! Reviewer: from Newport beach Great fit, very flattering. I'm a size 2 but went with size 6. Fits perfectly and stays in place. This swimsuit is super cute! It has the right amount of coverage but is still very sexy! It definitely runs very small- I usually wear an XS and had to order a S and it's still a bit tight. Reviewer: from Newtown, Pennsylvania this product came with stains on it and the stitches were sloppy and falling out Vitamin A's designers baffle me. They make high-quality swimsuits with great fabrics, stitching, and generally what would seem to be clean, functional designs. But the functional part is lacking. This top seems to be their staple seller, yet I don't understand why. The space between the two cups is too far apart, where you are millimeters away from showing your nipples and would easily expose yourself if you did more than lay on your back at the pool.

The model wearing the "Ice Green" colored top makes you think it will fit, but it absolutely doesn't and remains way too far apart. I'm speaking as a petite woman with a 34B chest. This top would be great if they brought the cups closer together. Also, the design of this top isn't too flattering on women with bigger/muscular shoulders, no matter how petite you are. Aim for a halter instead. Reviewer: from New York, NY Cute print but the top is teeny and the thin pad is almost too big to fit inside the cup. I usually wear an XS in swimwear and I didn't feel comfortable in this top. Reviewer: from Westchester County, NY I really wanted to like this bathing suit. It's basic black PLUS! But, the back is soooo low cut. I could see my butt crack!! I totally agree with the other poster. I had a feeling it would be skimpy so I ordered up and it was still SO skimpy it was obscene. And I am not large chested. The gap between the two cups is huge! Plus, the cups are flimsy, the fabric is wrinkly.

I love the look of this top, but I have a couple of comments for anyone considering purchasing it. I am 5'6" and 135 lbs with an athletic figure and like a previous reviewer, I am relatively small chested (wear 34B VS or Calvin Klein bra) with broad, muscular shoulders. I have trouble with some "girlier" looking tops that are made for narrower figures with triangles or bandeaus, but this top has a nice athletic cut. I ordered the white in a size 6 (smaller than I'd normally purchase - gut feeling was to purchase an 8 but wanted to make sure the cups didn't flail about while scuba diving) and although there is no structure (padding, boning, etc.) in the cup area, it is not an unattractive top when wet, it just looks a little more natural than a padded/ push-up top. It is slightly tight around the rib cage but it is my personal preference to have that tightness- kind of like a sports bra. Usually I feel like my chest is not at all accentuated, but this top actually promotes a little cleavage even on my broader frame.

My only real complaint - or maybe caution is a better word - is that sunscreen will absolutely discolor the straps so be careful with the white! Will definitely order a darker color as well. Reviewer: from Richmond, VA This is a gorgeous suit. I wear 34DD and the XL worked for me. Covers just the right amount. The quality of the suit is superb. Very sexy and classy at the same time. Buy this suit, you won't regret. Super cute but runs too small. the lining is also a little too thin and transparent for my liking. Beautiful color and fabric though.Make sure to go up a size or 2 to get one that fits. I am normally a size 2 in clothing I bought a size 6 in this. As most bikinis and swimsuits are made from nylon, elastic and/or polyester, it seemed the only eco options were saggy-bottomed crocheted numbers. Today, there are loads of stylish, sexy brands using eco-friendly fibres and recycled textiles to bring sleek, sexy swimsuits for every body type. From the teeniest, weeniest bikinis to outfits that are a bit more modest, we’ve selected what we think are the best swimwear options for 2015: This Bali-based brand offers a retro 70’s vibe with its handmade crochet styles. All workers receive a fair wage and great working conditions, and no chemically treated materials are used in the creation of these intricately crafted pieces. To compliment these ‘wild woman’ styles, EcoGypsy also makes these fabulous ankle cuffs from objects found on the beaches of Bali. Gwyneth Paltrow and all the Victoria’s Angels are already huge fans! When two friends decided to make swimwear from rubbish including discarded fishing line, carpet fluff and plastic bottles, a beautiful idea was born: Koru Swimwear.

Given the essential role upcycling plays in the business, it’s rather appropriate that the word Koru means “new growth, strength and peace” in Maori. The brand also uses only bulk dyed fabric processed without water waste or pollution, ensuring the oceans are kept as pristine as possible. According to their website, Aqua Green’s mission is to demonstrate leadership in style whilst providing fashionable, excellent quality and planet friendly products for the conscious consumer. There can be little doubt that this mission has been fully accomplished, as evidenced by the Eco Swim sustainable-minded swimwear collection. All items are made in America, from recycled nylons and other ecofriendly materials and technologies. What do you get when an Aussie studies at Central Saint Martins? The answer: Emobi, a fresh, fashion-forward swimwear brand created by Jess Salter. Salter’s debut collection was chosen amongst the “Top Swimwear Brands” by WGSN, the world’s largest analyser of consumer, fashion and design trends.

All swimwear is made in Sydney, using a range of environmentally friendly, water-based dyes that minimise their impact on beaches and waterways, combined with premium breathable UV protected fabric. Aguaclara is the result of a sibling venture. Peruvian sibs Jorge and Liliana Villalobos initially conceived the business as a small small manufacturing workshop, creating custom-made pieces from sustainable fabrics. But after almost 20 years, it’s turned out to be one of the world’s leading brands of eco-swimwear, due to its unique fabrics, flattering cuts and interesting embellishments. Latinas know from sexy swimwear, and La Isla is just that–an eco-friendly brand that’s all about sunshine, sexiness and sustainability. This Colombian made swimwear is so sexy, in fact, it was just featured in the famous Sports Illustrated sportswear issue. Each piece is produced ethically through fair trade standards, and La Isla supports many environmental and social charitable organisations such as Children of the Americas and Jean-Michel Cousteau’s Ocean Futures Society.

Vitamin A produces swimwear that can best be described as the water-ready equivalent of Audrey Hepburn’s classic Little Black Dress. In fact, the brand has created what it calls the “Little Black Bikini”. This is no ordinary swimsuit: its seams lie flat against the skin, avoiding unsightly bulges and ‘elastic tattoos.’ This fabulous eco-glam item is made out of an innovative superfine matte jersey made with recycled nylon fibres, making every holiday even better than a Roman Holiday! Odina brand evokes the beauty of the mythological creature Ondine (or Undine), Ovid’s gorgeous water nymph in the Metamorphoses. Made in America from reclaimed fabrics, such as recycled nylon, the brand also uses organic cotton for its bikini bottom linings.  Although divinely inspired the label wants to be accessible to all, so it works with surfers instead of models on its ad campaigns, and also asks them for feedback on fit and function. This is swimwear that’s perfect for the active mermaid.

Summerlove is a brand that was born in and inspired by the easygoing beach culture of  California. Designer Vanessa Rivers is adamant about spreading awareness of environmental issues, and uses VITA, a sustainable techno-fabric made with eco-nylon, to produce her collections. This 100% regenerated polyamide fibre is made from pre- and post-consumer materials such as fishing nets, carpet floss, and other waste diverted from landfills–but the sexy, side-tied styles they result in are far from rubbish! In fact, so flattering are SL’s styles, they use their customers as their models. Check out each model, below: they’re real people like you and me…but maybe a bit curvier. And with better swimwear! Eden Eco’s bikinis are meant for free-spirited ladies who love to doze in the sun, play in the waves and live surrounded by nature. Designer-in-Chief Emily Fioravanti conceived her brand with the goal of merging her passion for creating clothing and conscious living. Her collections are targeted for those wandering souls who love the seaside and wish to tribute it with sustainable beachwear.
