Venture Fund/IB Analyst Trainee


Full time internship, starting from September at least 20 hours presence in the office. 


THE COMPANY 

Buran Venture Capital is a venture fund investing in IT projects in Israel, Eastern Europe. BVC invests from US$ 500k to US$ 3m in a single portfolio company. Key areas of value creation include strategy, corporate finance, fundraising, HR, financial controls and leveraging our relationship network.

General functions: 

- The Tranie will become the part of the highly professional team, which is largely responsible for representation of shareholders’ interests in potential portfolio companies and increasing value of current ones. Up to 12 months.

The Trainee will be involved in key activities: 

- Search for new start-up projects; 

- Analysis of potential investment opportunities (including preparation of financial models); 

- Due diligence; 

- Value creation for portfolio companies: strategy, finance, sales & marketing, critical functions; 

- Working on exits from portfolio companies.


THE PERSON 

Education/Certification: 

- From 0 to 2 years of work experience in direct investments, investments banking, financial research, corporate finance or audit with one of the major international consulting or investment banking firms or one of BIG4; 

- Higher educational degree in finance or economics in progress. Any additional professional degrees from a reputable international association or business school would be of high preference; 

- CFA level 1 candidate will be given preference; 

- Excellent English language skills; 

- Excellent analytical skills;
