The installation of energy efficient doors, windows and roofs is one of the most effective ways to save energy inside your home. Mainly due to our innovative multi-chambered uPVC profile design, Liniar frames outperform most of the other leading brands in the UK when it comes to thermal efficiency. This is measured in U-values, which are a measure of a door’s efficiency at preventing heat transfer into and out of a property. The more effective a door is at preventing heat loss from a building, the lower the U-value.

Liniar’s French doors can achieve a U-value of 1.3 W/m²K, allowing you to enjoy a quieter and warmer home as well as reduced energy bills. Contact us for more information. All meet or exceed Building Regulations requirements for thermal efficiency and safety. All of our uPVC doors are available in smooth white, white wood grain, cream, rosewood, oak or black finishes with other colours available by special order. All our uPVC doors have a low PVC threshold as standard with aluminium for an even lower threshold being an option on entrance doors and French doors. We supply and install uPVC entrance doors: Front doors with either flat or feature panels Side/back doors – fully glazed, half glazed or combinations Garage side doors – fully panelled or half glazed uPVC doors All doors can be supplied with or without additional furniture such as letter-plate, knocker, viewer and numerals in white, chrome, gold and silver (satin) finishes. Generally, feature panelled uPVC doors are best in white, rosewood or oak. A very wide range of feature panel styles are available. A good place to view the range is on the GBW Panels web-site.

We supply and install uPVC garden doors: A pair of fully opening doors, sometimes with glazed side panels and normally opening outwards onto the patio or garden. Our uPVC French doors have multipoint locking and handle operated shoot-bolt mechanisms on both master and slave doors. For added security on French doors ask for our premier locking mechanism and dog (hinge) bolts to be fitted (optional for a small extra cost). Due to the weight of the doors, the maximum opening width for a pair of doors is 1800mm. Wider openings can accommodate French doors but a side panel of some kind will need to be installed to reduce the door width to 1800mm or below. If space and brickwork permit then the doors can be designed to fold right back to minimise their intrusion on the garden and, if clipped back, reducing the risk of damage if wanting to leave them open on a slightly breezy day. Our sliding patio doors feature multipoint locking and anti-lift mechanisms plus we normally specify the sliding panel to be on the inside for added security.

We can supply simple, two panel sliding doors with one fixed and one sliding panel or more complex multi-track multi-panel sliding doors. Sliding patio doors provide a smaller opening onto the garden than equivalently sized French or bi-fold doors but have the advantage of needing nowhere to store the open door and a very low risk of wind damage if the door is left in the open position. Bi-folding, slide-folding or concertina doors make it possible to expose the whole opening onto the garden and truly give a sense of merging house and garden into the home. The doors feature multipoint locking and the doors fold onto themselves when open. The doors are usually installed to open outwards to ensure that the stowed open door does not take up valuable space within the home. With uPVC bifold doors, there is usually quite a high step over threshold due to the amount of frame required to support the heavy door panels. For a bi-fold door with virtually no threshold and an unobtrusive frame select an aluminium bi-fold door.

We supply and install uPVC porches: We can mix and match uPVC (or composite) doors, panelling, windows and glass, polycarbonate or tiled roofing combinations to create customised porches to suit and blend in with your property.
