Sill pan comes in 4-9/16" and 6-9/16" sizes. The former is intended to be used for 2"x4" wall installations, and the latter for 2"x6" wall installations. 4-9/16" = 3-1/2" stud + 1/2" drywall + 9/16" sheathing. Likewise for 2"x6" walls where stud depth is 5-1/2" instead of 3-1/2".

How do i know what width of sill pan to buy? Typically, all garage floors are constructed at the front of the garage to force water drainage outward and away from the entrances to the garage. Hence, your problem is not the door collecting rain that runs down and under the door toward the interior. A simple fix that would not require a door replacement is to glue a rubber strip on the floor to block the water behind the sill location. It must be securely sealed and closed at the door jamb on both ends. Now, if the new door is a definite GO, you may want to consider that the house entries use a sill plate that will work fine with the new door on the garage (recommend metal) if sealed properly when installed.

In the real world, every RO is a little different, so being able to customize the sill pan length for proper fit is very useful. For 4-9/16 in. deep jambs and rough openings up to 40 in. wide mine did not I only ordered the bottom sill. I think they do sell a door kit top and sill included. What thickness/height will this product add to the rough door or window opening? I followed rough-in instructions of adding 1/2" to original rough-in, which depends on door type and manufacturer. Can these be used when replacing a door?you cover flanges with siding or trim being installed. Do they make one 5-1/2 inches deep to match the sill of the exterior doors HD normally stocks?
